Metal bodies on G&G M4 Blowback

Are normal armalite Metal Bodies compatible with the G&G blowback m4s? Because I'm considering getting one, but I want a full metal version, so thus I need to get a metal body. Are any metal bodies compatible with it or am I SOL?

Out of curiosity, why go for a BB. From my understanding, they are new and easily break.

You know, why because it's cool. You might want ask Tys to check it out for you since he did a short review of those G&G blowback. He should be able to do a body switch. Hope it help.

I beleive the Lower is compatible but I'm not sure about the Upper... maybe with some slight modification.

What info are you basing that on?...I've seen one broken body and one mechbox with out-of-spec parts (cylinder head), but those are hardly enough to generalize about a whole product line.

Don't see any issues with the lower.

The piggy back piston assembly looks like it would fit with a metal upper. You'd need to retain the stock charging handle. The fake bolt that straddles the mechbox might bind...some setups are a tight fit.

I don't have one on hand...and the only metal bodies I have are KA and KWA.

Best thing to do is find someone at a game that will try their upper on your lower.

Look for the ''Top Tech'' Metal bodies, I remember looking at G&Gs and they have Top techs (High grade from G&G) with Blowback, maybe look around. I think the Top tech metal bodies will fit the Gun you have.
