KJW CO2 mags

hi to all,

i'm just wondering is the KJW Co2 mags any good for the pistol? because one of my friend said the pressure from the co2 might actually cause damage to a plastic piece under the slide, and make it un-reliable, is it true?

thx for any advice in advance

I believe the CO2 mags are for use with the CO2 version of the gun. Propane tanks are about 160 psi while CO2 cartridges are about 800 psi. Maybe someone can confirm?

CO2 is much higher pressure than propane, and using CO2 in a normal gun will have a good chance of completely destroying something. I've heard some horror stories, not sure what is true and what is embellished, but in any case, CO2 doesn't have a very good track record when used in guns not made to withstand CO2.

I can't confirm the psi ratings but I can confirm that the kjw co2 mags will only work with the co2 versions of the guns, they actually won't even fit in propane guns cause the mag is a slightly different shape. While it is true that co2 is harder on guns then propane, kjw makes their co2 versions to handle it.

also co2 is really inconsistent.... the first few shots of a new 12g co2 canister will be reaaly hard while the rest will be much weaker....(the first few shots are the one that will cause the most damage to your gun...) thats why in Paintball ppl prefer compressed air to co2....

Also, you probably won't be able to game with a CO2 gun, i have heard that that G&G Co2 pistol can shoot upwards of 600 FPS ....full auto...... thats wayyy illegal

Most co2 airsoft pistols I've seen fire between 350 and 420fps. I've never heard of one firing anywhere near 600fps. Are you sure you're not thinking about airgun pistols?
