Lipo Battery question

I am thinking about getting a Lipo battery.

I have many questions
Do you need a spacific charger for charging Lipo's?
This is for my G&G M4 so I have a mini plug.

Do I need a different connector?

I know about how to be safe with these, knowing they may blow up if not well maintained.

I like this product so please dont explain to me how I could get something better.

Answers in order of questions asked:
1- yes you do need a specific charger for LiPo batteries
2- Looks like you'll be ok for your plug but I suggest changing them to deans connectors.

LiPo's are excellent batteries if properly taken care of. Just a point that you may want to consider, chances are that you will need to upgrade your gearbox internals to be able to handle the power of a LiPo.

people say that, but i run a 11.1 lipo in my stock Echo1 G36 mechbox and its fine, ive put like 4k shots through it on full auto no sweat

7.4v 20C (not 7.2) lipo's produce a much less ridiculous ROF and can still pull 400 fps springs with no problem, they are similar to an 8.4 LARGE battery.

Thats a 11.4 15C you linked us to though. I'd try to find a 20 or 25c as if you are going to spend the money on a lipo anyways... why not getting a better Battery and just spend some extra cash and get a good motor to go with it.

You SHOULD get a low resistance switch and rewiring to 16a (pref) gauge wiring however you don't need to. If you don't your wiring will eventually overheat and (depending on the quality) literally melt lol. The low resistance switch assembly helps to transer current without generating more heat.

Funny... I've been looking at switching to LiPo Batteries (mainly due to size rather than power) and over here (Italy) they are the same price and usually cheaper, than reg. batteries. But all I want is batts that'll fit down the stock tube so I can use a reg. retractble stock without re-wiring to the front and using a fake designator/battery holder.
