9.6V Large Batt in TM M16
Ok, now I feel really stupid not knowing the anwser to such a basic question.
I've recently acquired a Full-Stocked TM M-16 (my first experience with Full Stock Airsoft M16 BTW, always has collapsible stocks before), and since all my batteries are 9.6 Volts Large (to run the M249) and I do not want to re-equip in 8.4V, I will run this gun exclusively on 9.6V Larges. HOWEVER... ... I always tought that you could put a Large 9.6V in Full-Stock M16, but it doesn't seem to be the case now, I can make the battery enter into the stock, but the face of the battery arrives flush with the back of the buttplate, preventing, of course, storage of the wiring and closure of the buttplate trapdoor. Now I remember back in the days when I had my CA MP5A2 that I had to split the stock open and remove (read Dermel out) a little plastic stopper to allow the 9.6V battery to go deeper in the stock, am I facing the same kind of situation with the TM M-16 Full Stock? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Is the TM stock or does it have upgrades? Im pretty sure having a 9.6V in a stock TM is a sure fire way to tear apart some pistons, gears, all that fun stuff, given the fact they are usually rated for 8.4V batts.

yeah, just cut out the tabs blocking the battery from going all the way in.
