Glock: TM or KSC?
I've been researching them both but it seems like a 50/50 so far.
Looking @ airsoftparts.com (since im a Toronto local), i find that the KSC has more "vanity" upgrades, but the TM has more "Performance" upgrades, and by performance i mean firepower. What do you guys think? Also im deciding in between a 17 and a 26. which one would have more upgrades available? |

you need only two parts (hi flow valve + inner barrel) on the KSC G26 to make a powerful upgrade + one hiflow valve for each mag.
I don't know for the TM but the KSC is easily upgradable and has very good performances, even with the short barrel. However Hop-up rubber replacements/upgrades are easier to find for TM.

If you go with the 17 TM would be a better pick it is newer and much nicer then KSC's 17. IMO though KSC glock 19 is the best airsoft glock out there.

G17 = TM
Every other glock = KSC |

I'm really loving my KSC G19 right now. Bone stock, hits relatively hard and all around pretty sweet feeling (that being said I have never handled a TM glock).
Any other gun go with TM but with Glocks the general consensus is that KSC is the champion.

Alrighty, do the springs in the mags lock when you push them the whole way down in the G19? (easier refilling)

Another option if you're gonna mess with the internals is the Meister G17. TM clone, metal slide and full trades all over including the mag. Never had any problems with mine, takes TM Glock mags.

however im having issues with my two g19 mags when filling them fully with BB-s. after the first or two shots it stops feeding bb-s, because the spring has somehow been pushed back to the locked "filling position". havent figured that one out yet. now im just filling it with 17 bb-s and bypassing the problem.

There are just as many "vanity" upgrades for the TM as there are for the KSC.
There are also way more internal upgrades for the TM. Replacement parts are also way easier to find. Performance of the TM is also better than the KSC. Blowback is also harder with the TM. I give thumbs up to TM all the way... Regarding 17 vs 26, the 17 has way more upgrades available than the 26. Background for bias check: I use to be the biggest KSC Glock fan. At one point, I had 7 of them (two G18C, two G19, two G23F and one G17), but sold them all when better guns hit the market. I haven't owned a TM G17 yet, but have worked on several and they are SWEET. If I ever go back to the Glock platform and want a G17 sized frame, I would not hesitate to get a TM. I'd custom build a slide and barrel set for it, though.

more economically speaking, try meister's G17!unlike tm's products, you r splashing money for its brand rather than the gun.

having had 4 KSC's and 2 TM's, as well as the real steel glock 27, i will say they both are different.
the short of it is this.... TM= tremendously accurate, shoots very far, not quite as realistic as the real steel counterpart KSC= blowback is hard as hell, is a hand cannon, has no accuracy past 50 ft the KSC looks and feels (just handling and balance) more authentic, but the TM "acts" (trigger pull, slide action, etc) more authentic. so if you want a coke can killer, get the KSC. if you want to really use it, and have a fighting chance with a side arm, get the TM. here is my favorite KSC to date that i just sold..... and here is my favorite TM to date...... |

the KSC G19 is arguably the best Airsoft sidearm out there. Shoots well, great build quality to it (surpasses ANY other glock on the market aside from other KSC Glocks). Basically its a remarkable performer. However, this didn't translate as much to their G17 when compared to the TM G17. i personally am a KSC fan. i like their ease of hop-up adjustment over the TM (TMs you have to take off the slide and barrel to adjust it) and i like the feel of the gun on KSCs over TM (feel like the real deal with regards to KSC). but, TM G17 is an amazing performer. Everyone i have talked to about say its a tac driver. In terms of authenticity, it looks more realistic, what with trades and all. ultimately, you cant go wrong with either one you choose. if you cant decide, go with whatever is cheaper.

I find the TM Glock 17 has way more blowback power than any of the KSC Glocks.
