Help battery

I have a 8.4 volt 5000 mah whit deans plug. This OK for my TM ak47 or AMP is too hight?

mAH is not the same thing as Amp discharge rating...

If you are just talking about the 5,000 mah rating, then that wont hurt a thing. All the mah rating amounts to is how many times you can fire the gun before the battery is fully drained (and out of juice). So with that being said and done, the higher the mah rating the better. The only downfall that I know of is the higher the mah rating, the longer you have to charge the battery for. However, as far as I know, I think you can use a more powerful charger on a higher mah battery, but don't hold me to that.

mattb348 your right. A very good eletronic charger would do the job. I bought one from ebay, for total of 80$ and it does the awsome job. It knows when to increase or decrease the voltage to minimize the charging time. Took 40mins to charge a 2500mAh NiMh battery. Expensive chargers are totally worth it. Some chargers can have you charge forever =/
