Is G&G a good entrance level brand?

This would be my first AEG. I know it's no Tokyo Marui, but I was considering getting a G&G GMP5 SD6 as an entrance level AEG stock. What are the differences between ICS and G&G? I'd rather spend the money on a good stock gun than buy something that will break on me after a few thousand rounds like crossman clearsoft you see at Canadian Tire. The specific model I'm interested in can be found on Ken's site :

So it isn't a CAS version, which I assume means that they use more expensive material to put it together. Any idea how long would this last me? Any and all advice and suggestions are appreciate. Thank you in advance.

Buy a cheap car and how long does it last?

All depends on how you shoot it and take care of it. Ideally, take it to a competent gundoc for a once over, don't pin the trigger and dump hicap after hicap, don't dry fire, try not to fall on it and you should be fine.

I'm sorry if I missed something but I tried searching for
"AEG care" and "AEG maintenance" and didn't find a thread that talked about keeping your AEG in good condition. If someone would be so kind as to link me to a thread like that I would be very grateful.

Entrance level brand is a good name for it, though the title probably belongs to JG. Anything including and above JG is a decent brand, the only thing that differs is the lifespan of the internals and the sturdiness of the externals. It's always good advice to get the best gun you can afford. But if G&G is that best then it'll serve you well enough. 007's prices are alittle steep though. You'd be better off getting age verified and buying one from one of the retailers here or in the classifieds. You'd be able to get a full black G&G for at least the same price and a good chance of $40 or $50 cheaper then alot of his prices.

Thanks for the advice! I was thinking of price matching him with this
Edited: Is there a AEG maintenance thread around here somewhere?

It's in American currency but is still a lot cheaper when converted over.
ehhh...

Ken (the owner of 007) is a great guy, and not that he shouldn't support his own policies, but pulling that on him, especially when the competition is from like the sketchiest company ever seems like kinda a dick move.

Maybe thats just me...

Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't really aware of that. I just happened to see that link recently in a thread and was confused why the prices seemed so low in comparison to other companies. I guess I won't do that then. Ken will custom order G&G's though right? I sent an inquiry asking about that. If you don't mind me asking, may you inform me what led to such a bad reputation? Do they scam or are the quality of products received very low?
