can be locked. Thanks mods! Need suggestions for a MP5 aeg

I've convinced my friend to get into airsoft with me and the gun he wants is a SILENCED MP5. I know nothing about this gun, companies that make it, prices, etc.

So if your a retailer or current MP5 user, or MP5 lover, or anyone who knows anything about MP5 AEGs please post your opinion on the model you think he should get.

If you could organize your post in the following format I'd appreciate ALOT (+100 karma for eveyone who does so), since I have to email this to him anyways. Thank you

Name Of The Gun (Model and Company name):_______________
Colour (Black, clear, mix, purple, etc.):__________________
FPS (if not known not a big deal):______________
Battery type:_______________________
Physical Description of the gun (pull back stock, rail systems, etc.):____________________
Other comments (rants, opinions, etcs. here):___________________

Allow me to get things started by stating the most obvious choice.

Name Of The Gun (Model and Company name):Tokyo Marui MP5SD
Colour (Black, clear, mix, purple, etc.): Black
FPS (if not known not a big deal): 280FPS
Battery type: 8.4v mini 2/3 A
Physical Description of the gun (pull back stock, rail systems, etc.): Available in both full stock and retractable stock. No rails, optics can be mounted via claw mounts.
Other comments (rants, opinions, etcs. here): Quality product with a mechbox that left untouched can run for years as long as it used appropriately.

First you better figure out what your friend means by silenced Mp5 and it's not that hard to do a little research. Since it's your friend who wants a specific look, why not ask him to just google a few images of the Mp5 himself rather than a bunch of us filling out a form for you over and over again which might not be anything he wants in the first place.

The common silenced one is the Mp5 SD6 but he could be wanting an Mp5 navy with silencer, etc. There are dozens of variations on the Mp5. Tell your friend to google and find a picture of what he wants in the first place.

I vote for a TM also but with one caveat.

What are you friend's initials? Just imagine if his name was Charlie Ambrose, then he could get a CA so his gun had the same initials as his name

+1

A friend of mine has a TM MP5SD5 Its purely awesome. The plastic body is meh, but its not that big of a deal, The gun still feels solid.

Personally, I'm a fan of the older A2/SD2 style MP5s, I know ICS, and i believe CA both make variant of that. They are both metal bodied, and well built. (note the different lower on the older style)

I love this gun!!!! + 85 for me.

Name Of The Gun (Model and Company name):Jing Gong MP5 Navy
Colour (Black, clear, mix, purple, etc.):Black, all steel

Battery type:Mini
Physical Description of the gun (pull back stock, rail systems, etc.):YES! See Picture above
Other comments (rants, opinions, etcs. here):shoots very hard and fairly accurate. More of close quaters weapon IMHO. Will accomodate most treaded or MP5 Quick Disconnect style silencers.

Anyway... I love my TM MP5K PDW. Of course the silencer has to be added later.
Full black ABS
It shoots 280 fps stock
Mini stick type battery (AK type)
Flip out stock, 14mm cc threaded outer barrel end, slick mag change design, light and maneuverable (without the silencer), cqb champion.
Here's mine with silencer:

Well it would help to know whether or not you want a physically SILENCED gun or just a gun with a fake silencer. The sound of any mp5 will be the same, making it quieter is all custom work ei installing parts that will make it quiet. It would also be good to know how much he is willling to spend. If money is not an option, i vote Classic Army or G&G
