We scar questions

would it be possible to swap the standard M4 grip on my scar with a nicer ergonomic or weighted grip?

yes I saw some ppl change the grip on their WE SCAR, basically, any grip designed for RS or GBBr M4 should fit on it....

ooopps...thinking M4 and typing SCAR

Since there are not a lot of real steel SCARs out there finding parts is a little tougher. You might want to try an overgrip like the ones that Hogue offer. They fit an AR type grip so should slide right onto a SCAR....
They are quite nice

well if i grab a M4 grip, and sand off the curved tail on the back, it should fit shouldn't it? I enjoy a challenge...

You can use any M4/AR15 grip that doesn't cup around over your hand like this:

So you're limited to grips like this (sorry about the size, google search and all):

If you like the MagPul grips (as much as I do), you can get the full MIAD kit, and use the backs without the ergo curve at the top. I have one like that on my SCAR-H.

I also plan on getting the R/S one for my WETTI SCAR AWSS as well.

I've just installed the MIAD grip on my WE scar, was able to use the curved grip as well. Just the slightest fitment issue with the rear grip section until I put in the retaining pin.

Very comfortable

If you buy an actual MIAD kit it comes with the non-curved back end anyways, so if you seem to be having fitment issues, you can just use the non curved one. It is still quite comfortable.

I wanted the ergo grip, and the fitting issue was that installed the rear ergo section sat 1mm off at the bottom and half a mm flare at the top of the grip.

Not really a fitting issue. I just waned to clarify that the MIAD ergo grip part
fits the WE scar with the slightest of problems
