Real Steel Grips On SOCOM Gear MEU
Just want to know if the WE/SOCOM Gear MEU (the tan one with rail) will accept real steel grip panels with out any alter/gunsmithing.
I wanna put these... http://www.tadgear.com/shop.php?id=767 On this... But only if it's drop-in. No alterations.

Should fit.
The only MEU I've had a hard time getting R/S grips on was the KJW MEU. And that's because the lower frame has a slight modification for the KJW CO2 Mags. My R/S Pachmayer grips fit on every other 1911/MEU I've tried. Even the WE Wilson Combat CQB - which I would hazard a guess is probably identical to the SOCOM Gear MEU. |

You might have to enlarge the diameter of the holes for the grip screws slightly. I put Gunner Grips on my 1911 and that was the only mod, a few seconds with a round file for each hole.
