Havent seen anything difference, but all these prices are difference, so they must be different in some way

In the first two I am fairly certain they both work the same, the only actual difference is one has an adjustable trigger.

In the second set of links I believe the piston would go inside the cylinder set up, or at least that is how things usually work.

Out of the first two triggers the both function the same way mechanically. Its just a simple matter of making a choice of an adjustable trigger or no adjustable trigger.

Yes I realize that part, but if he was to go with just the cylinder set and buy the sears alone, would that be more cost-time effective for him?

The PDI sears are different from their V-trigger.

The V-trigger holds the piston at a perfect angle to the cylinder head until it's released whereas the zero trigger mis-aligns the piston and makes working the bolt more difficult.

If your brother is Stephen, Then tell him to just go all PDI and suck up the costs.

Edit:

The PDI cylinders you linked, one of them is for the cylinder alone, one of them is for the cylinder set that includes all the upgraded internals for it it aswell (Minus the spring)

Alright, i dont mind a heavier trigger pull, so I'll go with the nonadjustable which i assume is the red triggered one.

And I've heard the Vacum cylinder set is for very long barrel setup's, is this true?

The thing with the zero trigger is that trigger pull will be vastly reduced anyways, hence the name zero trigger. However the red one is adjustable for shooter preference if you read the product description in the link.

I thought perhaps you may have mistakenly linked the wrong item in the second set of links, unfortunately I have no opinions on them.

A well, i'll be getting the PDI, along with everything else PDI.

One question though, When are duties Paid? When it comes from the USA? Or anywhere out of country?

Duties are generally paid when an item comes into Canada, you are essentially paying the tax revenue that is lost to the Canadian government from buying outside of Canada. Its not uncommon to walk away from an out of country transaction without paying duties.

Basically I get charged duty about 40-50% of the time.

The HD system would be better for a SUPER long barrel because the VC system requires a couple mm's of piston travel to seal the vacuum bearing to start generating "BB Push" air

I find if the order value is less than $100, I've never received duties. If its more, I've had to pay duties ~75-85% of the time.

Alright, thanks amos. I'll be keeping the Regular barrel length for now, so we'll see what happens. Also, what do you guys think about modding an SCS to fit the PDI hop-up? Would this be advantageous? Or just a waste of time.

Also, these orders will probably be around 300$ each time. So I'll probably pay duties at least once, what is the average cost? Or is it dependent on the order?
