KWA USP and Shooters design slide
I'm thinking of getting this USP: http://www.thewarstore.org/airsoft/p...as-system.html
I'm also thinking of getting a silver shooters design slide b/c it looks damn badass. All the places I've checked says that it's designed for the KSC USP. Will there be any issues with the install? Am I suppose to by the system 7 version or non 7? Thanks.

I believe KSC and KWA are cross compatible so to my knowledge there shouldn't be any issue .. onto the question for you, isnt thewarstore.org in the states?

Thanks for the reply. Indeed it is, it's actually more convenient for me to drive down there and pick up the gun myself most of the time since I'm usually in the area. Do u know if I should get the system 7 slides or the non 7s?

From all that I've read and seen so far, aftermarket slides for KSC Sys7 and non-Sys7 will fit and function with KWA NS2 USP's. Outer barrels and inside-slide guts are not compatible.
Edit: this is not from personal experience. Feel free to try it out, and post up your results so I know for when I want a new slide with trades and all! |

Sorry to bring this back, anyone have experience as above with system 7/non system 7 slide interchangeability? Are the slide dimentions the same?
In my case I'm looking to put a SD system 7 slide on the old USPc since everywhere seems to be sold out of the old one. Outer barrel working would be a plus but is not essential. |

You won't be able to bring that back across the border.

I'm not sure, but I got a KSC USP Match and a KWA KP45 Match. I tried to put the front iron sight of the KP45 Match onto the KSC USP match slide and it didnt fit. It took ALOT of effort and sanding just to put in the front sight. Back sights fits perfectly though. Good luck =)

Hi Guys,
So, if I buy a KWA USP, I can put a "Shooters Design CNC Metal Slide & Barrel for KSC USP .45 S7 (Black)", on it, and it should be no problem? Also, the Barrel for it won't fit? Just hunting for a KSC USP Tac or .45 and finding it impossible... might just go for the KWA. Thanks for any input. |

you should have no problem using the SD slide, I found though that my SD barrel improperly fits the HOP assembly so it was unusable.
Look at getting a ra tech steel outer barrel it's $50 and adds some heft to your pistol

I did something similar a couple of months ago. Shooter's Design USP Tactical System 7 slide/outer barrel + internals from a KWA KP45 (NS2) + OD frame from a KSC USP Tactical System 7 (Japan version). Simple upgrade, everything works great. The only problem I encountered was the front sight. MAJOR pain. The internals from both the Japan KSC and US KWA fit and function in the SD slide.
The problem with the Japan parts is that the recoil spring is weaker as it is designed for duster gas. The SD slide was too heavy for the spring and wouldn't always slide back enough to cycle the gun. The build looks so nice I'm almost afraid to field it. |
