Canada Post services suspended nationwide

Omg Canada Post will resume today, I just saw that on Torontoairsoft and I bought my gun thursday -_-. I could have had free shipping with them, but no, I paid 32$ for shipping with UPS. What a cruel world T_T.

I still have not yet received my package from CP!I have phoned one of there offices and they said my package will not be there until another 4 days FML!

They were by today to empty the out going mail box, but I din't even get any junk mail. I am still eagerly awaiting a check and some important papers that are stuck in limbo.

I think they are delivering to their buisness mail customers first and picking up mail. Then they will start to get stuff out to us end users. Everyday its something different. Communications is not their strong point. Mail will resume monday, then tuesday now sometime this week maybe. I wonder how long it will take them to get things back to normal. Online tracking still indicates there is a labour dispute.

They officially started rolling strikes the beginning of June but had already suffered employer mandated shift cut backs in some departments. some full time employees were only getting 3 work days a week.

also to add, after talking to a couple of our regular CP guys, the $100 million they say they lost during the rolling strike is a joke. I think that CP forgot to subtract the lost wages of the strikers plus they froze all benefits for all employees.

Mail service has resumed, and will take a while to catch up, that's all anybody knows.

I'm still waiting on my items from Hong Kong, one is still "being processed for departure", the other hasn't even been shipped yet.

Yeah... my Corcoran para boots are still in limbo (since June 22; ordered them before the strike) between the US and here...

I got my gun today. They didn't leave a note or anything. All I got in the mailbox was a flier for a pizza place. nothing else. I checked online and it said that the item is ready for pick up. so I went down there and asked for it.
