Full metal Springer do exist but only in single shot form much like a sniper rifle they are made by G&P based on the maruzen 870, they are magazine fed usually 20 rnds but you can also get the 40 rnds magazine for it. the only difference between the Maruzen and G&P version is that teh G&P is basicly an upgraded version in both the performance and esthetics such as full metal body, barrel and internals.

the full metal version is usually around $500 - $600 CDN depending on the model they can go from a shorty to a long barrel fold up stock version like the one below. they are fun to shoot and they don't have hop up so your range is very limited but for CQB they are more than enough to tag your tango with.

Since the combustion of the powder created very low pressures (compared to a real load), the combustion is incomplete and extremely dirty. The Shotgun fouls up really quickly.

Been there, tried it : bad idea.
I added it as a tongue in cheek joke. I wasn't serious. :P

Is there a reason for having so few All-Metal Shotguns to choose from? I would really like the option of having a tri-shot (or more) all-metal shotgun... especially like the M3 Super 90 or the M4..

eHobby Asia has a few, I think only a couple all metal.. like the following:

http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/ea-m870-o...gun-8870a.html

Then you have this hyper-realistic baby.. holds 7 shells and ejects the shells after each pump.. each shell holds 3 bb's max.

I guess youve never handled the Tanaka M870 then.

The action and cocking is second to NO OTHER GAS SHOTGUN. Its got a solid KATHUNK and is one of the most pleasureable guns Ive ever fired.

The internals are pretty damn solid minus one or two parts which can easily be replaced with much more durable parts.

As for RS in airsoft? Didnt madbull make a RS Capable shell that fires bb's?
If i remember correctly the idea was pretty much shot down due to safety implications.

I was going to buy one then I started to look up reviews, the internals are mad of shitty pot metal and break very quickly from what I've read

You've been reading on stock review, I used to have the Tanaka 870 Full metal custom from Clarence when he was with Den Trinity(still regret selling that shit), that shit rocks it beats anything outthere with the exception of some of his newer shotty like Dark Angel said the kachunk sound was very erotic and realistic at least in Airsoft terms. As for the springer shotty the Maruzen based G&P are still one of the best ones out there if you can find it, at close range it is very accurate and best of all no issues what so ever in terms of operating the shotty.

Just to dig up the shot gun on firearm. You can actually use madbull shot shell in fireearms. The down side is you will probably want to make your own firing pin as the firearm one is made to dent the primer (gas release valve in this case)
Never the less, if you intend on fielding it, remind your self that is a firearm, not an airsoft. you must follow all regulation of that including no discharge in city.
