I'd gladly shoot then trough my M24.

Higher purpose... Collectible BBs?
haha

My guess is: As a benchmark to re-do the Cyber Sloth Airsoft Trajectory Project and prove his concept!

I sure hope it's that!

Actually I have a different version of this in a different material at .35g that will be for sniping. But, this version does have an application in airsoft, you're all just not thinking outside the box. The real steel owners probably will have figured it out.

A round that's fired out of a real steel gun?

Actually no, I do competition shooting and based on the components I use in .308, you can get upwards to $3 a round on custom accurized rounds. Go up to 50 cal and cheap ammo is almost $10 a round.

1: Ball Bearings
2: Testicles for my G.I Joes....FINALLY

4: Cheaper way to remove problematic teeth

Scarecrow, can you tell me if I'm warm?

Will these be primarily for Pistols and SMGs?

Give the man a cigar!

Actually its combined with a laser bore sighter for accurization projects in airsoft. Gundocs can bench a high powered gas gun or AEG and turn off the hopup, load the mag with these - then boresight with the laser to get to paper. Then finish off with single round shots until you're zeroed. A perfect BB with perfect balance eliminates any possibility of ammunition inaccuracy influencing your 'area of probability' that you shoot on when you shoot an AEG or gas gun. An AEG is closer to the dynamics of a smooth bore shotgun than it is to any kind of center fire rifle system. You always want to shoot down the center of probability, that way your grouping is statistically the tightest it can be.

I'd be willing to buy these and shoot them. Would prefer a super heavy weight Bastard instead like a 0.80g-2.0gram BB. Preferably not metal since that is such a no no in Canada.
