GBBR vs. AEG

IMHO Justin need to make two class of his guns, an economic version and a standard. (economic being die-cast where its possible without losing structural problems. Example is the 'mechstage' of the system: trigger assembly, disconnector, selector, and barrel extension can be die-cast steel instead of CNC steel, while the bolt carrier must remain CNC to remain strong. I really hope that he could mass produce Daytonagun and expand into like Canada where the market would hit the strongest as our airsoft is just beginning and the weather kills many competition.

GHK guns...suck, no offense but a guy in Classic Airsoft forum replaced every single part to make it work reliably. (Custom parts by Justin and RA-Tech Bolt Carrier) The system is made of complete die-cast potmetal (err, even the metal from pot are better quality) If you upgrade one part the stress is transfer to another and it will break it. If I recall correct this is the order:
Nozzle > Bolt Carrier> Hammer>Trigger/Auto Sear/ Disconnecter

VFC from what it seems isn't holding to what it promises, the design changed a bit but the bolt carrier breaks in 200-500 rounds, to enhance the problem, it's unique, which means you have to mod a WA/ Inokatsu type BCG to fit it in.

WE system is inherently better than WA simply its a modified escort system. Escort aside from using poor material, the design is king. If you use good control and material it will last unlike WA which will wear out still

KJW shits on them all end of story , i seen threads where guys where shooting 10 000-15 000 BBS And the gun was still ticking i don't understand why you never talk about this system its the most reliable system most accurate has easy replacement parts you can adjust the FPS stagnag mags are going to be realease .

Is it because it has a rubber band on the bolt carrier that you'll never see while using the thing are you going to stare into the bolt carrier group while firing?

You people with internal realism are rediculous as long as from the outside i looks realistic should it matter?

Reading threads is one thing but do you have technical experience with all different gas-blowback systems?

We weren't talking about realism in regards to the internal components, if we were pushing that we'd say WA/Magna but both Kull and I aren't YAY for it, the old Sun-Project system is just as unrealistic as the KJW.

We were discussing how the quality of materials for the gas blowback rifles mentioned in our posts were lacking and if they used better materials we'd see a difference in performance, this also applies to the KJW/Tanio Koba as I'm sure its users would like to see improvements.

speaking as somebody who has owned and worked on WEs and owns a KJW, the KJW's performance is 100% satisfactory out of the box, and is made with better metal or a lower stress design than the WE, because where ive seen WEs worn badly after only a few k rounds the KJW is just missing a bit of paint
but as per the original thread, GBBRs, even the KJW, are higher maintenence than any AEG, but I never game my AEGs anymore since I got my KJW M4, the GBBR is just so much fun, and oddly it's more accurate than any of my AEGs

Well, I've owned 2 WE GBBRs over the past 3-4months of HEAVY use and I have yet to replace one part. I believe you mentioned that you had to replace something the weekend you received it?

saying that replacing the rubber band on a KJW makes the gun bad is like saying that because WA slides break makes WA is shit, its just something you need to change, and... its a freaking rubber band...

Well, I think you are the first to come right out and say that. Interesting. Your experience seems entirely positive.

I still think AEG's are more reliable in the field.

as I said, since i got my KJ M4, ive not gamed any AEG but an odd game with my MP44 for shits and giggles, GBBR is so much more fun

I donno... I have a WE M4, 2 Scars and a PDW .. they go boom every time I pull the trigger.. and if they don't typically I can clear the problem in 10 seconds and get back to shooting... I have never been taken out of the fight by a tech problem yet...

In my Experience.. when an AEG goes down .. it's down....

Add to the mix... GBBRs are more fun to shoot .. and when you open up .. people scram...

now add to that... for RS shooters it is nice to be able to pretty much duplicate your RS setup and have a training gun that runs like and feels like your RS gun... There is a lot to recommend them

If u have zero guns- get an AEG
if you already have an AEG - get a gbbr
if you have zero guns but a huge budget - get an aeg and a gbbr
if you have a ridiculously huge budget - get 10 of each.

no it wont, it cant chamber a new BB without the band, you have to manually cock it to rechamber a BB after each shot if the band breaks, still that means even if it breaks in the middle of the game, your gun still runs
