Chances are the paint they use on the bolt isn't the highest grade..
it would probably be beneficial to remove the paint from the bolt and polish it. |

The KSC mp9 taiwan version system 7 finally came out by the way... better trades than the KWA mp9 same internals

The gouges are on the bolt catch side right? If so they are from the bolt catch as it is stamped steel and has sharp edges. I ground the sharp edges off and that stopped happening .. I also have a cracked cylinder and have a replacement coming (thanks for your help george!) but fuck i can't for the life of me remove the roll pins and the regular pin at the back of the bolt to remove the gas chamber assembly ... Amos any tips? Another problem with the MP9's is that the part 153 is attached to a spring that is a tad to strong and prevents the bolt from completely returning to battery Which in turn doesn't allow the hammer to function. Simply stretching the spring will fix this.

I have both KWA MP9 versions and I have NOT experienced any failures or premature wear on either gun! Don't let other peoples failures dissuade you from purchasing one...they are pretty damn reliable out of the box, but that's just my two cents!

The gun is very reliable and a blast to use! There are a few small mods that make it run way better and I wouldn't dry fire to much as with all guns that's when the cylinder takes the most pounding because there is no buffer for the cylinder which the bb provides buy because of the stupid high rate of fire inwouldbt recommend dry firing it at all.
I'm just having a really hard time tearing down the bolt te pins are really in there... KEVORKIAN is absolutely right dont let these malfunctions dissuade it really is a very skirmishable gun out of the box!
