Have you guys had the chance to really compare both brands in same/at-least-similar setups? And were able to cones up with solid conclusion?

I know Prommy is considered "by all" as one of the best brand, if not the best.

However, I've been reading a few threads on the matter, and apparently the Madbull and Prommy had both advantages an disadvantages: Prommy had the smoothest bore of all, while the Madbull's roundness was more accurate and consistant.

Now the question to ask is which of these two properties will affect BBs flight the most? I'm not quite sure, I think both properties are important, so I'm wondering if it's worthwile to pay twice the price for the Prometheus, or if I would end up with similar all round performances with the Madbull's at half the price? ...

I think I read about that on airsoftforum.com; a guy there had access to high-precision measurement machinery. It dated about 2008 if I'm correct

Thanks guyd, help is much appreciated

The most important is the consistency of the bore I.E.: 6.03 +-0.001mm
Smooth polished bore is good for airflow. Personally, I will always consider a japanese manufacturer over a tawanese/chinese one.
Another important element is the hardness of the inner surface, This will improve the overall rigidity of the Inner barrel and reduce the risk of scratching the inner surface with dirt on BBs. So look for an inner barrel made of stainless steel or reinforced alloy instead of brass. Prommy EG, systema are reinforced aluminum alloy and PDI are Stainless steel. KM TN are titanium coated alloy.

Ouch, I just saw your reply Warlock, kind of forgot this thread :P
Thanks a bunch for the details!

I think I'll go with a prommy then, as soon as I can find one :P
