Basically the same thing:
WA is Wilson Arms, and G&P makes the WOC (Wilson Arms Official Custom)

Yeah the cradle one is annoying, but we will have to live with it for now. I am looking into having a steel screw made for the NPAS bodies i still have.

WA's have more complex internals/bolt - I highly suggest sticking with a WE closed bolt for the more reliable, easy to use/maintain and fun to shoot GBBR.

A major aspect of GBBRs is that the magazines tend to be real-cap or very close.
This forces players (especially those coming from AEGs) to conserve their ammo and make their shots count.

You dont by all the mags at once either... that would cost a pretty penny... I slowly bought mags since I bought my M4 a year ago and just a month ago Ifinally bought my final one....

get mags by the case (12). share the discounted cost with a buddy or three to keep the over all cost to you down. yeah 8+1 is a typical load for me too even though my rig is capable of 12+1. I sometimes pack a couple buddy mags in upside down, open top shingles on the back of my rig. it helps to slightly balance the weight of my rig but remains accessible to myself as well as team mates. so really it's 10+1+2 |

The mags are expensive, there is a lot more maintenance, and they are loud. Most importantly, if you love to spray in full auto, you will be quickly disapointed. As mentioned above, the mags are generally 25-50 rounds max. I don't think I've seen one that holds more than 50 (which doesn't bother me, but does others). You'll find that you need patience. Dumping a mag starts out fast and hard, but dies off after a few secconds to a slow chug. Semi auto, or small (5-10 round) bursts with a good pause in between is what you'll be limited to. Unless you don't care how it performs.
Long story short. I LOVE my WE Scar! It is a SOLID gun, but when I want to hose people down, I use my KWA MP9R. 22 RPS, and I can dump clip after clip without any loss of performance. I get increadible distance with it, and it very accurate. I use it in outdoor fields, and easily tag guy's 100-150 feet away. So if you have the patience and can lay off the trigger a bit go out and enjoy a GBBR, but if you're looking for full auto consistancy try an MP9 or an MP7.

Unlike everyone seem to suggest I start out with GBBR. Also handle& own PTW, and AEG before
In General, Magna System (WA): If you're coming from a real steel AR-15 gunsmith or know it all, this is the best. The only thing new is the hop-up and nozzle. Both are easy to learn. The main draw back of this system is parts breakage. I suggest you use the lightest possible bolt carrier and run CQBR length Inner barrel to keep fps down. DO NOT use NPAS for Magna. It's a bad design, and a main source of headache.
WE AWSS (brass tube): Is consider the most reliable GBBR if you upgrade the internal firing to steel. Even tightening all the screws, the gun is made of pot metal and will eventually wear out. The biggest down side of this system is that it's not suitable for Full auto (ROF is relative low and you can cause the nozzle to freeze reducing efficiency) WE Open Chamber (Open-Bolt): is the new WE system found in PDW, M14,G36, SCAR, L85, and now AR-15. It has significantly higher kick than AWSS system as well as higher ROF. All in all it is considered equal or superior to the AWSS in everything except nozzle reliabilty. The Nozzle is made of plastic instead of stainless steel. As such when a gun double feed it is a likely scenario the front nozzle will break, and replacement will be needed. KJW (Tanio-Koba): is considered as out of box game ready GBBR. It uses thermold magazine (slightly larger than GI mags, some double mag pouch will not fit two, namely SDS (specialty defense system...US Army Contractor for gear) The gun is the most AEG compatible GBBR currently available. The biggest issue for the system is the rubber band breaking and lack of aftermarket support (compared to the rest) KSC's System 7-Two is a similiar system to Magna only it's more reliable and more efficient in gas. However the biggest down side is the poor KSC hop up design (ball bearing as hop up nub) What would I recommend? WE Open bolt, mainly I suspect WE will become the Marui of GBBR. The biggest issue with GBBR like real steel pistols are that the magazines are not interchangeable. So far WE STANAG has the most platform compatible (AR-15, SCAR, PDW, L85, and Custom-shop M249) Although the parts are not prefectly durable, alot of parts needed to be upgrade are interchangable with other platofrm (ie trigger set of WE AR-15, PDW, SCAR, G36 are interchangeable) |

I doubt that WE will become the Marui of GBBRs; I hear more bad things than good about their rifles.
