I'm telling you, I play against marpat guys in the fall against that exact kind of ground, they are literally INVISIBLE when prone. The only foliage in there is a foot off the ground and 6 feet in the air, so what you want to blend into is the deadfall and the trees.
Multicam works, but it's a MULTI-CAM, not a specific environment camo. And you don't have enough foliage at crotch to eye level to use cadpat effectively.
Although multicam would absolutely work, it wouldn't work nearly as well as marpat.

+1 Marpat.. a good portion of the year the forest area's we use around here look just like that (although a little more tree'd) and marpat works really really well. hell I even run cheapo clone Marpat ... and it works really well..

.... or Really really good (read real/expensive) multi cam .. with CB gear with a little green here and there.

the other factor of course is the player... if you actually stalk and use strategy in your movements either will work for you... if your a run and gunner and never stand still, you could wear a pink bunny suit and it won't really matter.

Im not a MC user because i thought it looked cool, but rather because i was walking with a team who were wearing it and when i casually looked over, i couldn't see them; i had to refocus just to spot their outline against the treeline. And were were only 5-10m apart from one another.

Multicam is the way to go.
I was told once, shortly after buying MC, that at one point when I was hunted and found, when I moved while flanking, I could be seen, but when I stopped and they tried to refocus on me, I wasn't there. Literally, my movement was described as a dotted line. I'd move, they'd see, I'd stand still, I'd disappear. Love the stuff, even though it gets a bad rap from the elites as 'airsoft cam', and since many of the US forces and others have adopted it as issue, the airsoft elites seem rather quiet about it these days. Lol, personally, my last couple years playing, I'd wear khaki, MC, US woodland, CADPAT, whichever I decided to wear based upon what was team related and such. My Drop Zone BDUs seemed to fade to a lighter khaki/tan type colour, compared to the darker MC of what the cheap stuff was, made me kinda disappointed in blowing almost $600 for pants, shirt and smock from DZ..........

LIES! .. we all know the truth! ... you weren't even there... you were in your workshop using Jedi mind tricks on those poor airsofters making them THINK you were there... the vision vanished when you walked to the microwave or coffee maker....

Lol, I suppose. And because of this sort of thing I was told by a close friend of mine who is a Wiccan that I should study to become a shaman because of my gift! Funny enough, it was Lutnit that said I looked like a dotted line when he was tracking me that game, and he and I ended up in a pistol fight about 30ft away, he to this day swears my kill shot on him, went over one branch, under another, over a third and then smacked him in the goggles. At the time sounded like Pinball Wizard, but he said it was odd while watching it in slo-mo.

I currently use MTP wich is a Multicam variant and I played in a field similar to your picture yesterday. Dark Woods with dark green or dark brown dominant. Fields with light green grass, light brown vegetation, sandy colors. One of my buddies uses MTP, I kept losing him whenever he stopped moving I had no problem finding the enemy who where using dpm, flecktarn, Cadpat, all good camo's in my book. MC and MTP are good at tricking the part of the mind that finds patterns. It's also good whenever you cross over from dark to light surroundings. Most of the darker camo's are good in dark surroundings if you dont move, but are not as good in lighter environments like grasslands.

Everyone is going to be biased obviously in which camo to suggest for you to buy. My advice to you is just do your research on the different patterns available and think about the setting you will be playing in.

Personally I use the Polish pattern wz.93.

talk to the people that play on that field... see if you can find say 3 or 4 guys that run the camo you like or run the prodominate camo that seems to work on that field.. have them stand out at various distances from you.. turn around and ask them to move 5ft in any direction then turn around and see who you can find faster and who "hides" the longest
