This purely depends on the type of player, magazine capacity and loadout

-Semi auto only player will takes a lot longer to digest through 5k compared to full auto MG
-A 30 round capacity (especially GBBR) will lead to lower round count/ game compared to midcaps and high caps
-Finally magazine loadout will also be determining factor.

Some folks runs 8-12 100-150 rounds midcap which expend 50-100% of their ammo for a game

GBBR user will always use less ammo than AEG.

I use about 300-450 rounds per game (6 mags of 30 rounders)

I've only played skirmishes. Each skirmish generally lasts 30-60 minutes.

This season, on my main weapon (an M4), I use 5 x 120 round mid-caps. I also carry a 450 round high-cap in reserve. I carry all of these magazines on field. Additionally, I carry 52 rounds in pistol magazines, and draw the pistol in perhaps 1 of 4 skirmishes.

Generally, I use 3 x 120 round mid-caps per fast moving/high engagement skirmish. I have gone as far as 5 x 120 round mid-caps, but i have never resorted to the 450 round high-cap.

It really depends on the player, the game, the length of game, and how much/how deep you are engaging the op-for, to judge how much ammo you are going to need to be carrying.

Generally, around a maximum of 1500 rounds, liberally spread about, will do me for a day. Whether any rounds actually hit anyone during that day, is another question entirely.

I've gone through 2000ish in a single skirmish with my DG m249. Granted, it was an attack and defend skirmish, so it was totally a game to spew tons of BB Bastards. No remote thought of conserving ammo.

I think I was even challenged to empty the big box mag in a single trigger pull .

On the flip side, I've played games where we used no more than 150 rounds in 8 hours.

Then there was that game at the LZ Ottawa last year. The final battle/standoff must have put the head Bastard's kid through college. :P

Depends entirely on how you play. When we started out we were...."excited"...about all this and ended up spraying A LOT of shots. It was pretty normal for some of us to shoot through 2-3K BBs in a day of skrimishing at Flag Raiders. Lots and lots and lots of full auto. We played close to every single local game for 2 years straight Probably didn't hit as much as we thought (pretty sure about that)...tons of fun.

Now...a few years and many games later...a 2K bag of 0.30's goes a long, long way. Probably 3-4 games/training events/etc... Probably more. If you're hosting/organizing/helping out/C&C/etc...you tend to shoot a lot less because your priorities, attentions and responsibilities are much different than a front line troop. At one of the 24-30hr milsims last year I shot a grand total of 60 deliberate shots...it was all suppressing/indicating fire on semi auto...don't think I actually hit anyone. I did dump the rest of my mags on full auto...but that was more just for fun and it's the fastest way to empty them

In the end....don't sweat the numbers. Have extra BBs on hand...they'll keep and they're cheap. Have enough gas/batteries/mags/whatever-you-need-to-shoot as well...'cause it's not nearly as much fun if you can't shoot back when you need to.

Here it takes me at least 3 games to finish a bag of 2000 KSC bbs.

back in HK i finish a bag and a half in 1 full day game. since I run a 35 RPS setup for my m4 it hoses bbs down range like crazy, also carrying like 15 midcaps so I reload like every 2 seconds XD

I run low cap mags, so I tend to not shoot as crazy as some people. The most ammo I've ever used up in a day was a couple of years ago at Op Broadsword in Picton where I went through about 1200 rounds. The game was very intense and I was in many heavy engagements through the day.

On a usual game or skirmish, I'm usually going through less than 500 rounds, with most of those being the emptying of the mags on some target at the end of the day.

1-2 days with 4-5 houres per day. Small fast games, 30-60 mins each. Lowcaps, no spraying.

mm I checked his other posts, it's not him apparently lol

It's a slow day at work and on the forum... I am entertained. Therefore am indifferent about the noobishness of the original question.

Tys and I were in the other tower shooting, reloading and gassing WE mags like no other. If we had a saw or AEG with us, we could have decimated them. But 2 WE PDW's held them at bay for long enough. The attempt to roll through with the pickup truck was futile as we just went at picking them off one by one like we were snipers. lol Anyone we missed you guys got. Hahaha

What a gas that was. At another point I went to another tower and ended up with Chris...we went through hell holding off that sector. Empties all over the floor, ammo all over the floor, dead batts in one gun, no gas left in the other....solomance was rebuilding busted guns in the tower across from us...some kid holding the front line gravel mound in front all on his own, we'd scream down vectors to him and he'd pop up for a kill and then drop down again...f*cking madness.
