when i painted my 36c, i bought painters tape (green) its crap dont use it. was of money. (doesnt stick)

wet the sanding paper to get better result in sanding surfaces to get smoother finish. I use Tamiya masking tape although a little expensive but it works. I think its better to strip the existing paint to bare metal then spray it with all surface primer. If your up to stripping that paint off the metal body. I recommend you use Easy OFF oven cleaner. safe on metal but not on rubber parts. This is an old trick from a hobbyist book. pm for further information. peace
