Where can I buy the mid-cap mags?

You can get MAG brand mid-caps for it.

As everyone has stated, overall G&G is a solid brand. A few issues with compatibility here and there in some of their guns, however all parts can be ordered direct from G&G as their customer service in my personal experience has been good. I own a SCAR-L that I bought used and since buying a year ago I have put easily 20k BBs through it between games, plinking, and destroying things for fun. Only things that have gone on me are then trigger reset spring which is a $3 part, and finally now the wiring through the folding stock krimped and cracked and needed to be replaced. The gun has been dropped on concrete, in mud, drenched with water throughout Nightfall 1 and the only external part to give is the selector switch on the right side which simply popped off.

G&G TTs are tits out of the box. I have a team mate who owns one and he refuses to open the gun up as its been a laser since day one and he doesn't want to ruin the factory work, go figure.

Their FNCs are also just really lovely guns. Their AKs don't get purists buttered up but as a skirmish platform they really are special.

I didn't find the CM16 too bad. Took me a little bit to get it up and running, but it was light weight and pretty accurate for a sub 300$ gun. Even the plastic body itself was quite strong and well made.

The G96 is heavy, on the other hand and as I said before, they tend to have raised seams where the two halves of the body meet. I sanded them down after I sliced open my middle finger on the screw hole under the trigger guard, and even took a straight edge knife to the holes to break the edge. The internal brass barrel was bent as well, but I can replace that later when i feel like upgrading the bolt action...

The F2000 is heavy, but well made. Of course, the older models can't use normal midcaps thanks to the gearbox having a screw jutting into the magwell but it's fairly easy to fix that. Otherwise, it's a phenomenal weapon.

The GR-25 (SR-25) is great, heavy pretty accurate, but has some blemishes on it. Magazines are kindof stupid too, nearly 40 bucks for a dinky little magazine that holds I think 50 rounds. I'll be switching to other brand midcaps, but not all will work in the GR25.

I've had a couple G&G's, an older m4 and a new m14 ebr. both very reliable, the m4 eventually did break but only after a lot of heavy use. the m14 has been my primary for 2 seasons (shared duty this year with PDR from magpul) and has performed flawlessly. I have read many reviews on their newer guns, even the lower cost ones draw great praise.
Personally I recommend G&G. some reviews point out that some of their models aren't as close replicas as some other brands but it's usually in the name of practicality and useability as an airsoft gun rather than perfect replication of real world guns(most ppl can't even tell the difference especially since everyone rushes out and aftermarkets the hell out of their guns anyway!)
My m4 took standard mags and all internals were readily available and compatible with most other m4 parts. The m14 is a little different, the mags are G&G and classic army only. but they aren't hard to find. the gearbox internals are standard for an m14 however it has a proprietary motor mount. mine has not been an issue but is said to be a weak point. I've checked availability of the part just in case and seems readily available too.

I've had several gr16's and all have been good to me. I'm itching to get an m14 g&g as my reading on them is they use a standard v2/3 gearset instead of special ones like the tm spec ones do (want to build one with riot 10:1 gears & ft motor for speedy trigger response)

I Have too agree.

But I also have a M14 EBR-S and its a beast. Its been flawless for 5000+ rounds now.

My Older M4 is just starting too show signs of age, And its had 20+K rounds through it.

Ill keep buying G@G AEGs But my Next DMR is a WE EBR

Look harder, I got my CA midcaps for 17.50 each on boxing day. In country too.

I had no prob finding mags, my local retailer occasionally has them and at least 4 canadian retailers carry them plus countless international retailers...
