Barrel wobble isn't as bad on M4's as it is on M16's that's for sure.
even if you go plastic theres a fix for barrel wobble. do a search.
I never said there wasn't.

You can get RIS or RAS and nitro rails or get one piece metal barrels.

Choose the gun that you like most, regardless of the problems you ‘may’ encounter later on. I had so many guns in mind but I took the TM mp5a4. The problems that could happen with the mp5: cocking knob breaking off after a while and the selector switch gets "lazy". Have not had any problems yet, and love the gun. You can go out to a field and check out some guns as well. Many of the guys in the airsoft community are great guys and will let you test fire their guns.

there is a ton of methods, both expensive and complex, and inexpensive and simple. a somewhat complex way of fixing the barrle wobble for some people is vondnik's method, which can be found Here, or a simpler way by Droc, which can be found Here. to add a large battery to the adj stock, you need to install a Crane Stock.

Again, read this website, it's all here. This has gone from being helpful to being spoonfeeding. Do your research, you're about to invest over $500... you should at least read first.

M4 is teh gay!
Version 3 BABY!
Version 6 is the best but if you must have a large rifle get version 3. No one will ever say that a stock m4 with a version 2 mechbox is better than a stock g36 with a version 3 mechbox.
The appeal of the m4 is it poularity in the real world and the real steel bolt on accessories.
If you are going to play airsoft, and you want useability and performance from a stock gun, it really dons't matter what you get they all perform very much the same. The version 3 mechbox is just a little more solid than the rest.
