I completely forgot to measure the threads today sorry.
Adding an even to my phone to think about it. I "think" it's M12x1 6g, but then again I would not consider the tolerance, it's cheap machining. The adapters from WE where well made, I don't know what brand you got... |

I used to make M16 to M14 adapters, can tell you right now they do not follow tolerance lol

Done the measurements
M11x1.0-RH BUT out of the 4 I measured, there was nominal size from 10.70 to 10.95... so lots of play. I assume that these remove the slack only by butting against the end of the barrel. |

11mm? What barrel was this on? All I've come across was 14mm. Also, I've seen LH and RG taps and dies. Dunno which ones go which way. Is right hand same as clockwise? Left hand same as CCW?

RH is clowckwise, LH is counterclockwise
Both LH and RH are fucking retarded ways to identify direction of a circle -_- |

WE M9
WE 1911 KJW G23 PPS "pistol to rifle adapter" WE M&P9 M11x1 is not really a standard used, but taps/dies are available for it. LH is "backwards" threads (counter clockwise/airsoft threads) RH is "standard" threads (clockwise/everything else than airsoft barrels) It is a stupid way of saying it, but there is a reason; if you close your fist with your thumb out, turning the bolt in the direction your fingers point will "move" the fastener the way your thumb points. And it's the way taps/dies/bolts/threads are listed... |

You're right, that is silly. CW and CCW makes more sense. I didn't realize you were referring to inside threaded barrels. My We M&P9 has that, as you said.
The 14mm->11mm adapter I had was silly in that it screwed into the barrel of the gun, but screwing the silencer onto the adapter loosened the fit to the barrel. Tighten the barrel fit, and loosen the silencer. Like I said, my KP05 having external 14mm threading has given me the best results and variety of attachments. Might just have to put an M82 muzzle brake on my P229, bwahahaha! Location: YYZ VOR 062 radial, 17.5 DME FL5280 |

A drop of blue thread lock on the barrel or silencer solves the issue.
I prefer on the silencer, but that's personal choice if you want the threads on the barrel all the time or if you want to dedicate a silencer to pistols. |

Not everyone knows the method, so they can easily confuse the direction. Whereas most uneducated people at least know what direction a clock moves. Although.....with the digital age, analog clocks are going to get pretty rare... |
