Hurray for JB weld, one of the best epoxy resins out there for hobby work.

Here is a suppressor I whipped up too, not as sleek as yours... Kudo's to the fine craftmanship you demonstrate.

Haha, that it is, 5 minute clear epoxy is actually better, but I didnt have any around the house.

Nah, the 5 minute is too runny. You can get regular or 5 min JB weld. It holds it shape reasonably well and sands better. Just my opinion...

The construction is plastic body "consists of plumbing extension tube and rain filter for texture", metal edge rings, and internal metal tube stabalizer "1/3 length" held stable by 1" plumbing caps.

What is an issue with my suppressor, compared to yours, is method of attachment. Your threading is well done, my is a slip form over the flash hider. Not nearly as elegant.

I have a question for you guys, since I make suppressors myself.

Do you actualy make working suppressors or are you looking for something to add to you guns?

The way I see it, there is more to making suppressors then adding length to you gun.

Did you actualy do research on how they work?

Just asking...

I designed and made/had help make an effective supressor for my M11, with baffles, perforated inner barrel (boosts the fps by 30-50fps) and it works, can only hear the bolt clacking back & forth. Have also made baffles for TM supressors that work very well also. I've known for quite a while (almost 15 years before I even knew airsoft existed) how they work, so it was just a natural thought process, I didn't actually decide to make one, then study how to make it.

Baffles, you got to love them... It gets rid of the snap all together.
It's a simple design and very affective.

Any one have any ideas on how to make a QD silencer? i want to try and make one that fits over my Flashhider on my G36C so that i can take it off without making it look stupid

hi i think im bit late in this thread.

I would like to know how to make a working silencer for my .22 long rifle as i shoot a bunny and all the rest run off from the sound!!!

Any help apreciated.
