My objective was to achieve the highest ROF possible, but I instead got the the highest CTF (Cost To Fire), I'll elaborate more on this.
I remember that... It was so crazy.

The night slim installed that 12V battery on his G36 and shoot a line of BB at his metal garage. What a sounds it made as it took a full 3-4 secs to empty a low cap. LOL

just to update, I got my systema torque up gears and installed today. With the 12v, the ROF sounds a little slower that a stock AEG.

It was fun to have a high ROF, but this setup will be much better for my motor

so you took an insane high fps battery, and then used a very low fps gear set

reinforced standard ratio gears and a large 8.4v or 9.6v would have been plenty

Careful Droc, he does not want to hear common-sense solutions.

All I wanted was to gear down the setup, and I did that. So I don't see any problems with what I did.

The problem is that it's overkill. You can achieve the same ROF and FPS with a different combination of gears, motor and battery, but the parts you're using now will lead to a much quicker death of your gun.

And that is the exact common-sense he reamed us for pointing out.
I give it a few weeks until he comes back here asking for a fix.

I guess so. By the way, I ordered a 9.6v battery as well. That way, theres nothing out of the ordinary. The setup now is no different than what others run.

Guarder sp120
Systema torque up
systema reverse latch
hurricane nozzle, spring guide, piston head
guarder piston
9.6v battery
area 1000 bushings

The 9.6v will be my main battery, and if for some reason I want a higher ROF, I can use my 12v and get some stock ratio gears.

My setup with high speed gears and 12v would have lasted longer, but the motor was a good 2 years old. It was just an experiment. When I got the high speed gears, I saw a big difference. Then for some reason, I wanted to see how much higher the ROF can go. The guy I sold the gears too is feeling the exact same way after installing them today.

It was fun while it lasted, but now its back to something more reasonable. I'm really sorry for offending anyone for experimenting

Experimenting was not the offensive part. The not listening to the advice of folks who had done it was.
If you are going to ask for advice, think, and listen to the advice you are getting.

Right now your system is unbalanced and parts will fail, it's only a matter of time.

What will work (proven too) has been posted in this thread.

So listen or dont, your call.
