At the risk of fagging up this thread with a reply to pointless nitpicking, I did. I simply clarified why we weren't going to be able to bring our toys. >:/

Believe me, living in Windsor and being pretty well cut off from the much larger airsoft scene in Michigan/Ohio is something we've been trying to deal with for a while. I'm entirely for this idea.

Oh ok, I've got a question that i'm not too sure that was answered or not, now is this going to be a 1 day event, or would it be like a 2-3 day event, and if it were to be a few day even would there be accomendations like camping at the feild or what? I mean I don't mind spending like $150USD for a airsoft game, but with travel costs and food etc, it would be only more effective cost wise to spread the time out, I mean make it like a 2 day even with 3 days worth of camping at feild time

One option that we could explore is having somebody/retailer in Canada with the proper license/permits to have our AEG's/GBB's shipped back to Canada, for a small fee.
Lets not forget about mags... A lot of us like using locaps.

I'm liking the idea thus far though.

mags arnt an issue we can bring everything but the gun, grenades, and mags with fake bullets back across the border. I am with binx on this one it would be cool if a canadian retailer could import all our guns back for us for just the custom fee or somthing. that way we could bring out guns with us. alto i dont know how anal us customs is when bringing guns down into the us.

I have suggested this in the past. However since one of the members of this forum is an active importer of airsoft (got all his paperwork and permits). If a game like this was to happen it MIGHT be possible for us to take our airsoft guns/gear into the US and make arrangements for the importer to bring them back into Canada for us.

Remember though, if we do bring our own guns, we'd have to paint the barrel tips/flash hiders orange

If someone would want to look into the candian side. i will see about this side. but it sounds alot like how some of you have lost guns in the past.

i mean if i get on here saying: okay guys you are going to ship your guns back from america and i will somehow, guarantee safe passage through the american border with assault rifles..

i think by saying that some people won't want anything to do with this idea.

it's not like you guys are american citizens.

they are going to stop and search you if they see an airsoft gun. doesn't matter if they know it is a toy.

let's keep workin it though. We just have to be sure on both borders. then again by the time you ship them both ways... was it worth it. you tell me.

this won't kick off till spring of next season, earliest so we have a lil time.

Looks fun as hell.
