the pictures make the slide look almost black, but it surprisingly matches the frame http://www.uncompany.com/pageproduct...sp?prodid=7853

Surprisingly enough, that doesn't look half bad at all.

The filled upper slide means that the stock one can be used for parts too, or the Tiawan slide can be used as parts, either way. The silver chamber looks pretty nice too. Color is good, trades are.. ok.

Anyway, back to this topic, sorry about that. Hopefully there will be an aluminum set to come out sometime and I'll consider blowing another 500~ish on this too.
R&D to churn out said plastic parts does cost a bit more than a couple bucks

The trades are ultra garbage. I would rather have plastic than filled in 1911A1 trades.Looks so..airsoft, someone will bring out a correct slide soon. :salute:

Its a 1911... I wouldnt waste money on just a slide. Counting down the days until somebody releases the slide and frame kit.

Besides, why drop the cash on TM quality and drop it down with a shite slide? Sure its cheap... but its cheap.

Can anyone else hear WE's calipers sinisterly scraping across the pure, innocent plastic flesh of the TM1911, violating its virgin dimensions one imprecision measurement after another?

Yup, research & development and tooling should be free and cost the end user nothing on the product's final sticker price! Those scam artists!!!

Why are full metal offerings so cheap? Because they don't have to do any development. All they have to do is COPY the work performed by TM.

Exactly. Hell WE slides already violate WE frames. Man so many WE breakdowns outta the box. I suggest anyone wanting a metal slide for there TM 1911, wait a while for a respectable company to come out with a metal slide.

god my poor eyes. you get what you pay for. i wonder if it fits without extreme mods. i believe the pgc kit costs $168US which is totally fair considering you get beautiful engraved trades as well as a frame. i just kitted out a 1911 with a pgc kit and guarder spring set here at the shop and it puts any gun i've seen before to complete shame. it's amazing looking and somehow doesnt run out of gas on a full mag (26rds) lets see your taiwan asscock piece of vag WE pull that off.
