There are gun clubs that are mostly pistol based, can't say I've seen or heard about a gun club with shotguns or rifles. But then again, you can play with real steel in a lot of places in China.

I remember going as a kid, my uncles got to fire maybe a mag off an AK and a few pistol mags. (They could be blanks, but I was too young to remember)
Ya... i know about gun clubs in china, someone invited me once but never got the chance to go. Never really hear about gun clubs in HK.

Hong Kong is the airsoft mecca.... i think its fine if we dont have any real steels roaming the streets.

And might I add that I've never hear/read about arm robbery with an airsoft.

Prowler,

We are inviting you to join. Now, where did we FUCK UP? It is an invitation, most of the comments here are even out of topic. If you dont want to join then fine, dont.
But to swear on a thread like this and comment that we are fucking up - makes me think you are not a gentleman, perhaps barbaric, I use to look up to guys being refined, but you destroyed all that notion. leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
Or are you trying to prove to everyone here that you're one macho guy, big shot, a super strong Mr. KNOW EVERYTHING A**H*LE.
then if thats how you feel of yourself, fine I respect you for thinking you are such. But geesss, swearing like that and commenting as if you know everything there is about airsoft, looks to me you're one A**H*LE trying to push your way, thinking your way IS THE WAY

Ginson - Pare, try to remember you are speaking to a bunch of ignorant fucktard noobs which populate most of this board. They couldn't even begin to conceptualize the Airsoft environment in the Philippines, the history involved, the fact that Canada represents a sliver of the international community and how far out in space that community is compared to the rest of the world.

So don't take comments here the wrong way - instead feel sorry for the short sighted poster whom most likely will fall into the 85% demographic of Canadian Airsofters who get in and out of the sport like they change their underwear/go thru a revolving door/change sex partners like Lindsay Lohan. Some of the PARE's here might understand your point of view, as I am sure a lot of HK players - unfortunately these players who have this knowledge and insight have stepped back from this forum a LONG time ago.

It's kind of like making the mistake that the solar system we inhabit is in/close to the CENTER of the known galaxy. Imagine their surprise when they stick their fucking head out the window!!

Prowler - smarten up.

You can feel even sorrier for those pinoys who became ASC moderators and havn't found a way to step back from the forums (I just try to stay in the shadows a bit hehehe)

Appologies to all, just realized i posted the other night when i shouldn't have, drunk no less. Much shame on my part, and I guess my mind was somewhere else completely when I was typing. Again Sorry. Won't happen again.

Now for my actual thought on this. I do like the idea of a global network of airsofters and would be more then happy to join your forums. I like how ASC is a close knit bunch of people and enjoy the fact that Canada is very close to the UK players. Seeing other players from other countries would be an awsome thing to experience.

In Denmark, you have to be 18 years to buy and own an airsoftgun, but if you are 16+, you can play, if you got a written permission from your parents/legal guardian.

Not to add feul to the fire, but Prowler did apologise, to call him a 'punk' after that isn't very tactful. Prowlers a good guy, and he did say he was sorry.

As for the purpose of the UAA, intresting idea, it can't hurt. Im not quite sure if we need such a thing here in Canada. Airsoft in other parts of the world is definetly different then airsoft here (the age limit for example). Even the different provences here in Canada sport different rules based on slightly different codes of ethics. To each their own I guess, but airsoft is about good clean fun, and (at least here in Montreal) we don't really have a problem keeping it clean, we know the rules, we know what we value and know how to behave.

Hawkzor,

My apologies too, I got caught up writing the post and did not realized that Prowler was also writing, he may have been the first to submit the reply. I do not intend to add fuel, Prowler and I have PMed each other and made amends of the misunderstanding. All is fine now.
You are very right, our vision about airsoft is about fun too, enjoying the passion and want to share them with the rest of the world. Who knows, maybe in the future we might be able to organize an event that would call all softers to meet and share the same passion. To quote Lt Poncho, "we understand how strong a community stands when borders are broken"

Again, my sincere apologies to Prowler too for the misunderstanding.

It has always been a dream of mine to see a convention for airsoft in canada. If someone could organize this here in Canada that would be awsome. Not to deter you from making a global one which would be better of course but I know it would not be here in Canada. Our community is not as large as other countries but we do stay very connected with each other.

Prowline weve been over this, you can't have me im taken. :borg:

well where i think this organization would be really useful would be if/when we are ever allowed to bring our gear across borders. Say im in Canada and im spending a few weeks in the states, through the UAA it would be easier to find people to play with and make contacts in my new neighbourhood.
