Marui SR16 + GP Crane Stock battery

Hey Illusion, thanks for the output.
I've decided to buy a whole new assembly, since my wires are too short for me to do anything. I got an ICS gearbox 2 assembly to the rear for 9.99.
I think I'm gonna go back with full stock, and convert my gun to a full size m16 like I have planned before. I don't feel like bothering with this whole crane stock battery setup. I've done enough filing to my guarder body

If you still have thoughts of going with a Crane stock, don't do that... even if you buy a rear wired assembly, the wiring is STILL too short. You're still going to have to splice in wiring, and that's where the problem lies.

Save yourself the $9.99, get some quality low resistance silicon wiring and run new lines from the trigger assembly to the back. Just follow the original wiring scheme. G&P is sending you a freebie anyways!

Not that much filing is required to get it to fit. You just need to make a tiny notch in the stock spacer, and a 4mm deep U-shaped cut at the base of the buffer tube where the wiring will come through. The wiring can run along the underside of the buffer tube mount. The buffer tube itself has a channel cut in to it that can easily fit the wiring - allowing you to keep the wiring to the outside of the receiver.

No, go to your local hobby shop. "16 Gauge silicone wiring" is what you ask for. They use thicker gauge wiring for airplanes, boats and cars... they should have 16 gauge as well. You can even get away with 18 or even down to 20 gauge wiring as long as your setup isn't very high velocity... but try for 16 first.

Hey illusion, you know the connector that connects to the motor? like the metal contact piece that touches the motor. What is it called? I want to rebuild the wiring assembly, but I want to replace all wires.
