C-7 Fans... Help, Ambi Catch? Cocking handle?

To paint rubber, leather or other paint resistant materials, I use Angelus leather paints, they're probably the best out there, at least for making custom nikes :P. It doesn't crack or chip which is great, and it lasts a long time... also, acrylic = easy to remove if you need to. I use to think that when I first started using the A2 but after using the old cocking handle I love the new one. Yes it does get caught on things but my drills are 100% faster, espesally with gloves on. Tap, rack and go is a bitch with the old one.

As for airsoft, yea don't bother as it's not really used for anything. As already stated not every C7A2 has this, ambi mag release, or ambi selector switch.

King Arms makes an ambi release. it works fairly well. I have an ambi-latch on mine and its a pain in the ass. I think im gonna switch back to the old one next time i take the gun apart. (which, for some reason, is a very difficult task. even experienced techs hate doing so to my C7..)

One thing I will warn you of, when taking blank receivers to engravers. Not all of them will engrave Canadian Military logos and such. Whether it is legal or not, Ive encountered a few that believe its illegal and refuse to do it. I got a guarder one eventually though.
