It looks like I could not stay away. I purchased another vsr and plan on taking this one even further then this one. Expect more posts on this over the next few months. First think I noticed about the gspec over the other models is the stock barrel has a barrel spacer. The other thing is the armature that presses down on the hopup is slightly different.

Good to hear man, I'm still working on my VSR Pro.
So far it has:
PSS10 150 Spring
Prothemus 590mm 6.03(with silencer to hide it)
PSS10 Air Seal Damper Cylinder Head
PSS10 Ball Bearing Spring Guide
Firefly Hop-up rubber
As well as some tastey external add-ons.
It still has an accuracy issue, so it still has some bugs to work out, but it is a work in progress.

What sort of issues with accuracy muffin? And cobra you should double check with knight on if you can field a high power gun just yet. If so I look forward to it there will be 4 on the field.

I wont have it in my hands for another 2 months (holding off on shipping until I move into my new apartment) so I will have time to get more games in. And I am sure by that time you guys can trust me with it :P Worst come to worst, I'll just leave it in my closet until I can field it.

I didn't realize the other VSR models didn't have a barrel spacer. I guess because the outer barrels are tapered they didn't want to bother with the plastic washer they put in the G-Spec. It could be worse, the barrel spacer in the HFC USR-11 is a loose metal washer welded into the outer barrel at about the half way mark.
The hop up arm was supposed to be the same across the entire VSR line but I think they only started doing that after the G-Spec came out and TM sold out their remaining stock of VSR's with the original hop up arm. In other words, your last VSR must have been an older one.

Well seemes to slice to the right quite frequently, other times it shoots straight as an arrow, its just rather inconsistant at the moment.
Not quite sure how to remedy this.

Do you clean your barrel often? Also are you sure the hopup is placed correctly?

Barrel is clean and brand new, I've disassembled the hopup a number of times and everything looks good to me.
I'm also using .3 bastards.

Does the arm that pushes down on the hopup have a lot of side to side play?
