Try eHobbyAsia Ebay store for magazines. Really good prices. Probably the lowest.

Mags should get through customs no problem. For the MAS, I wouldn't go above a 120% spring. Mine is shooting about 330fps and it's great. I've used it in both woodland and CQB and it performed well in both. In fact, I've gotten longer ranged kills with my MAS than with my G36. I wouldn't upgrade it past 120% though. The GB can handle that fine, anything above it and I would be a little suspect, and it probably isn't worth the risk of breaking the gearbox since replacement parts are hard as hell to come by. As for ROF, it's insane. Empties a standard mag in about 4 seconds.

Nope, that's upgraded. Stock it shoots about 280. This MAS was upgraded by the guys at warcraft out in BC with a 120% spring and steel bushings.

hmmm alright, just one more question, what kind of mods can be fitted onto the famas, like silencers and scopes and stuff
|
|
August 12th, 2007, 21:10 | #24 |
Comes with a RAS for RDS and scopes. No stock capacity to accept any other accessories, including silencer.
SV version has spots for slings, F1 version has a bipod instead. Recommend you read some reviews before asking anything else.

There's a DIY guide available, kinda pricey if you ask me: http://www.airsoftpress.com/famasupg.htm
Alternatively, contact Ontario gunsmiths.

its a fucking bitch to do I recommend you get someone experienced to do it. Took me 2 nights to figure that shit out on my first upgrade, without any help from anyone. And I came close to breaking the gun a gazillion times. |
