You dont need the realism mosfet but it would make your gun run more efficiently and reliably not to mention the cool features. The only thing you cant get out of the list is the anti-dryfire. PsyphyerVII made my switch and he takes his time with his customers and products. He is a good guy and I highly recommend his mosfets. A mosfet with AB and fuse should be around $40-50USD. Just let him know what you want and he will take care of you. You can even mail him your wiring if you dont want/know how to solder it yourself. Oh, yeah tell him Mateba sent you.

AFAIK yes. I would still PM them in case some new feature is comming out soon.

ALso Gandolf is making similar items http://extreme-fire.com/

I am holding off for a 3fire burst for some one to make hopefully soon.

Gandolf is cooking up something really cool for Jan 08
It will have 3 round burst for any AEG among other features.
He is seriously looking to add a USB port to the unit.

I know a guy who made an MG36, systema gears, piston, cylinder set, 350fps spring, and a spring guide. Went through more than 60,000 rounds before he sold it, never had any problems. When he first hooked up the 9.6 large and tried it out with stock internals, it took 6 seconds for the piston to strip completely lol
Hmm odd. I ran my G36C on a 9.6v with an MS120, Upgraded Bushings, and Spring guide on over 20,000 rounds and it never broke. Hell its still running to date.

Quasi off-topic.

I just received Terry's (Gandalf) SW-AB-LONG mosfet last night...and then stayed up late breaking down and rewiring one of my armalites. It works...but I haven't field tested it.

I put it into a low power rig just for testing (m100 + 9.6v battery). Snappy response but not enough testing to really see what it can do (from my layman's perspective).

His computer controlled/flashed MOSFET is going into production soon. I might get one of his and one of Frank's to try them out.

+1, even with M130 and a systema turbo motor => very high rof. Upgraded bushings, gears, spring guide. like a clock...

2Syn & m102404: Never had a chance to try Gandolf's FET, but... these past 2 month we've (me and my 2 friend) successfully fried 7 FETs, including Systema one, 2 semi-commercial ones and 4 of our own design (btw one of ours worked well in 2 other guns, but I've managed to burn mine with my crazy systema motor)... until we've found this baby http://www.datasheetcatalog.com/data...5/BTS555.shtml
We are still testing it, but it seems that we've finally struck gold. I probably dedicate a separate post to the subject, but in a short version - it is virtually indestructible (at least electrically), it helps greatly to extend battery's drainage and regulate the power consumption (we've managed to almost double our batteries run time)... besides protecting our trigger contacts and increasing the rof.
