I had a freudian slip at one point when sending a package to bean. I mistakenly wrote "Lower Suckville". I still feel bad about that.

Ohh dear, I hope this guy didn't shit the bed on the GBB's you got heading your way. If they are all messed up like the aeg's are I'd vote to have this guys age verified status removed. We don't need people trying to rip other members off on our forums.

ain't that the truth. If it wasn't for that, I'm sure it would have ended up on someone's wall (the box itself) as a showpiece "ha ha, lookit this! Suckville!"

Gun was shipped today cod express. I'm glad to finally have this over and done with. The battery cable was taped to the under side of the foam package due to it sitting on my table as i was taping the box closed. I also made sure to wrap the package something that was over looked before.

In Jim's defense
Jim is my team mate so I feel like I should say something.
I've talked to bean on msn a few times regarding this ordeal. Having known Jim for about a year, I can say it wasn't his intention to rip anyone off. He doesn't have as much ... shal we say finesse with his equipment as most people would expect; I've seen batteries taped to stocks and fore grips, and guns frankensteined from the oddest pieces of equipment. That’s just the kind of guy he is. Now with regards to the unexpected surprises, Jim's Chinese and doesn't speak or read too much English (doesn't excuse him from ASC doctrine blah blah blah). He figured the low prices should imply that the guns aren’t in mint (or I guess in some cases, functioning) condition. I dunno, maybe that’s the way things work in China which would (I think) explain his aggravated behavior; in his mind he doesn't think he's done anything wrong. He figures people are just being assholes. I've had a talk with Jim about being careful about disclosure, and how things work on ASC. As it stands now, the dissatisfied buyers got their money back and the damage has been reversed. I hope things will blow over in the end and everyone can just put this behind them, but you mods do what you have to do cause god knows on one is going to convince you otherwise .

G'day,
The story isn't over yet. Still no update on CanadaPost.ca (not surprising) so still no GBBs. The saga continues... P-ha!

Update
Just in case anyone is still following this story....
Got a call today from Canada Post Security. Aparently they had a bit of an issue when the incredibly poorly packaged firearms spilled out in the sorting machine. Turns out, postal workers don't like to see guns at work. P-ha! From the sounds of it, quite a stir was raised. At least the guy I talked to knows about airsoft and sounds like he's level headed. So tomorrow I'll either be able to put paid to this tale or be in jail for causing undue stress at a mail sorting plant.

If you would have seen the job he did on my gun you would understand. It was held loosely together by 5 pieces of duct tape. The box lid was flipped inside out and that was all.

If you were meaning to keep them, and they're damaged when you get them then I would said either ask for a refund and send them back, or ask for a partial refund and keep them. |

He hasn't received the gun yet. He has to go tomorrow to pick it up. so I'm guessing he doesn't know if he's keeping it or getting his money back yet.

G'day,
What Matt said. The postal security guy said the 4 mags are still with 'em so that's a good sign. More news to follow tomorrow evening.
