instead of rounding the prices up, it looks better to drop the 1 cent and make it appear cheaper..even though it doesn't really affect the price, it looks more professional and doesn't appear like upping the prices. For example, 100.00 mags look cheaper at 99.99 because an entire digit is dropped. Just some marketing advice..all the best to the new site and sales!!

Well, that's a lot better and makes more sense... That's pretty small. When you said it was 1 MB, I'm assuming you meant the .FLA file then...

I'd still create a text / graphic link on the splash page though (good design practice), but at least the SWF file is small.
