and about the spring how do you have to keep it on the outside of the cover those 2 little prongs or do they stay in the inside that spring is a pain in the you know what |

I don't remember how I did mine, but put the dust cover where it should be, slide the rod in until its about to reach the middle opening, then hold the spring the way it needs to be, and slide the rod through it. Before you attempt this make sure you know how the spring it supposed to be.
Looking at my spring. Concerning the little ends sticking out. Left is from behind the bar and on the reciever, right is from in front of the bar and on the exposed side of the dust cover. Those fake body pins/ lever ends can be apoxied on.

PMd
Did you use the picture I sent? Both spring ends should be on top and left one should be on reciever while right is up and on top of dust cover.

Are the spring ends both pointing up? Or both pointing down? If you have it like the picture and it's not working then I'm confused. Unless your spring's different and you need to torque it around more.

No Prob. But if it's loose man don't settle for it. Maybe you need to torque the spring around again to make it tighter?
I'm not at all familiar with the G&P hopup. But as far as my P90 goes... The hopup rubber goes on until it sort of "snaps" (very softly of course) into the hole in the barrel provided for it. It needs to stay that way as you assemble it and not get pushed up, so assembly is delicate to get it right. wiggle it together gently. Maybe lube it. I won't comment on the little nut thing though, I'm only familiar with the P90 and PTW hopup. Oh, but I think it screws on to the plastic part that fits over the hopup rubber. I'm visualizing a P90 here so I dunno... EDIT: http://www.tarad.com/proforceshop/im...25123943_b.jpg Does it consist of the same parts as that? I'm a little drunk already, but I don't see any nut type thing. Another reason why I love the P90. The hopup is great. I can't believe I've thought of selling it. Screw that. Keep me updated on how it's going, I'm going bowling soon.

Not Eye Safe, Pretty Boy Maximus on the field take his picture!
|
Every G&P hopup unit I've taken apart from a G&P gun has used that brass ring as a shim to keep the hopup chamber inline with the inner barrel. Never seen it used on the hopup rubber like that before...
