I'm not sure the details, but I'm quite sure that he's insured. He runs a paintball field in there as well, so I'd assume that would extend to cover airsoft in the building as well. In terms of fees, it's usually up to whoever organized the event. Typically, it's $20-30. Sometimes there will be a day game and night game where you can do one for $30 and both for $50. Testtube also just ran a game where all the proceeds went to cancer research, and I think we got in excess of $1500.

It's an expensive outing since the field fee+gas money usually puts you at at least $50 if you're one of the folks coming from Ontario...however it's absolutely worth it. I can't imagine there being a better place than the Mill for CQB inside of Canada.

The UK has a castle I think, hence why I just said Canada

here are two of my videos from the most recent games i ran at the ferryboat.

the ferryboat has its fair share of health issues. sadly due to black mold, mildew, and general dry rot this is the only way i can be on the ferryboat for any length of time.

like i said ,games are still held here but they are few and far between.

as far as i know there are no other cqb areas in my region.
ah yes, those where my first days of Airsoft on the old ferry. My P90 was awesome to use on that boat, shame that the boat is becoming moldy and unhealthy to play on. But like you said Six, I still hear of games every now and then.
cheers

Last summer a group of us headed up 2 hours north of Pickle Lake to play at an abandoned community called Stirland Lake. With loads of abandoned homes, office building and gymnasium, we had plenty of variation. This year it's going to be just as fun. We've been given permission to play at an abandoned radar base in Sioux Lookout. Too bad there isn't a larger group of people playing airsoft up here or we'd really have a party.

Most people in Toronto play CQB games at TTAC3 at the Fighting Arts Collective.

Winnipeg has an indoor arena called Xtreme Tactics. Its a pretty good setup with a nice range of rental gear and a SICK! showroom. I try to go once per month and it costs between 25-50 dollars for rentals

I live in Winnipeg but I'm sick of xtreme tactics super close quarters maze combat. Used to be good but recently it's been a mandatory pistol range so I stopped going a few months ago. Now the only place I play CQB is in MELVILLE!! cause it ROCKS! and its actual CQB in a building, not tag in a tight budget maze.

I'm so disappointed I'll be missing that. Preston invited me out to that, but I'm not in Dryden this summer. I didn't even know we had an abandoned Radar base in our area. Balls to my luck.

I think ASC needs a field trip to Combat South over in the UK:

Bloody nice set up they have there (the woodland site is nice too).

Try playing in a bathroom. Wait til someone's pinching a loaf then throw in some goggles and start shooting. They can either wipe fast or run dirty.
This is reason #744 for locking the bathroom door.

Another set of pictures from the Mill in Beauharnois, QC.

http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthr...039#post744039

There is also the "basement" part, with little or no lights in some spots, dripping water, "the woyks".

Awesome place to play. 4 stories, so you get a good variation of settings.

Do the owners of your local pub allow minors under age in?

I realize this is a very old thread, but since it's been woken up again, I'll say to the players out west that you will all have another large indoor CQB venue to play in very shortly. Details will be out after my Operation Mason Relic II event in May.

Underage ? No. No buts or ifs, just - no.

Start learning to use the forums. There is an Events section. But, for your own benefit, go read the FAQs.

Be patient young padawan, watch and learn. Tough, depending on your age and the way you behave, you "MIGHT", with an adult parent attending, be allowed to take pictures during games.

And then, that is if the organiser says it's ok.
