I wonder if any of you guys know how the element AK metal body compares with the G&P one regarding sturdiness and the quality of the metal.

Also are these AK wood kits sold on ebaybanned and by Huang any good?

From everything I've heard Element is the lowest quality one, but it's usually the one you're stuck with. I don't even know which I have, I just know that it was a very tight fit and I had to file down in a few places.

Element bodies are 25 dollars anywhere else in the world.

That should say something for the quality.

Hi ! Thanks for answer ancorp, I would like to bring it from my country (Cambodia), I'm not sure which model yet but I think AK-47 is the usual model that has thousand burn out every years (no war, no gun so should be burn and destroy) so I could manage to get any real steel part before they burn like the steel stock, wood grip, stock and handguard.

Which nations stock sets will you bring, and for what model AK?

lol Cyma metal bodies are actually better than element, AND they come with the stock tangs built in!

so youre saying G&P metal ak bodies are good ones? or just good compared to the elements?
my metal body on my ak is a G&P. its pretty solid and sturdy and the parts that hold the stock on are all one piece along with the reciever. mags dont wobble either

Amos, I recently bought the Kraken Ak47 w/ Full Metal/Wood that AXe Hound used to own, which i think is the same one you worked on it.
I asked about the bodies because the metal body in that Kraken is pretty good, but I am not sure it is the Element one (I guess so), but if it is then I'd say it is a great deal for such price quality wise, but again not sure it is the Element metal body on the gun (waiting for Axe to confirm ).

ak47 front end can go on an element 74 body, the 74 style top cover may have some fit issues tho may need to be filed down

Thanks pawscal and ColtFarmer for confirming the body on that kraken is indeed the element one.

Now I just received an AK47 metal body I bought but i think it is missing some of the of furniture and it seems to have more stuff in the package then i was expecting

I bought the body expecting to receive the Element AK47 metal body, but what i received it's clearly NOT the Element one.
The body comes with the stock tangs built in, a metal front end (broken i think), some handguard retainers, and just TWO screws
My guess is that it is the CYMA metal body since it has the writings "CM.029" on it.

But the whole package came with just two screws and the front end appears to be broken.
So i was wondering, besides the 2 screws that hold the front end to the body, what else is missing here and if there is a way to fix the broken front end.
