1. Promised it would fit.
2. Would send tracking number.
3. Stop reading/ ignoring PMs.
4. Giving you a negative feedback when you have done nothing wrong.

4 faults. Wow..
Anyways, if shadow said the correct size in cm, this wouldn't had happen.

But anyways, you should've check the size chart before dealing with him.

I would contact the admins about his negative feedback! That sounds like a retaliatory negative to me and his AV status can be pulled for that.

I got a negative experience with this user too, I left a negative feedback. It seems that he does not know what he is selling, no product knowledge.

I bought an Osprey(british body armor) from him. On his for sale ad, he stated that it was clean and in good condition. When I received it (also came in garbage bag) I notice that on the back of the vest, the compartment where the rear armor plate would go has been riped out. The stiching has been taken off. I can see the tiny holes left by the stiching. I contacted him to tell him "I was disapointed that he fail to mention the back panel was missing" (my exact word). In his reply, he told me that this vest has many versions, and the back panel of the one he sended me is suppose to be like that (ie: missing rear armor compartment).

All I can say is NO. The Osprey has one design and all of them comes with the rear compartment for the armor plate. I collect British kit, I've done my research, and I know what I am talking about. Further more, if I am wrong and the vest is suppose to be missing the part in question, then why would there be holes left by the stiching of that compartment on the vest??? It is very clear someone took it off by taking out the stiching.

It is very clear to me that this user don't know what he is talking about, he doesn't have an understanding of what he is selling. He has no clue what an Osprey is suppose to be like. And when I give him photos and evidenece showing him the actual vest vs the one he sold me, his only response was to make up a story and try to tell me there are "versions" of the vest.

PS. I didn't even ask for money back, not once in any of my pm's to him did I ask for money back. I just wanted him to apologize for his dishonesty. He had to know the vest is missing something, the holes left by the stiching is very obvious

Don't you know? They stitch it on and then cut it off violently with shears for effect!

I would not say so, "retaliatory" would be someone changing their feedback because of negative comment or leaving inappropriate comments ie. "EAT SHIT AND DIE".

To me anyhow it seems that seller has left a feed back that he had issues dealing with this buyer, a seller SHOULD still have this ability as sometimes buyers deserve neg feed backs.

retaliatory feedback is a negative feedback which does NOT effect the sale! Shadow left a negative feedback saying that the buyer wasn't happy with the item he sold! That is classified as retaliatory....

I've already had to deal with a member leaving me retaliatory negative feedback. I paid fast and the right amount and was not happy with the service so I left a negative feedback. The seller then left me one saying just simply that I was a bad person. The seller in question did this with a couple other people and had their AV pulled because of it.

It's the exact same situation as this. Buyer paid on time, received item not as described/defective, and because of such tried to contact the seller to fix the issue. Seller wouldn't and left a stupid negative feedback for the buyer JUST because he himself got a negative.

I mean come on... leaving a negative feedback that pretty much says "buyer was unhappy with product I sold them and won't leave me alone"....

Well, not to fan the flames, but this seller has had his AV pulled until he sorts this out.

Is it possible to have my retaliatory negative feedback removed as well? Considering the seller lost his AV status and hasn't been seen on the forums for ages....

He assured me it would fit, and at no time did he say it was a size small. In his add, he said small-medium, which led me to ask two questions when I first contacted him:

1. Is this helmet a medium?
2. Will it fit a 7 1/2 head?

He replied with a yes, leading me to believe that it was a size medium. His ad was very misleading, he promised it would fit, and he led me to believe I was buying a size medium helmet, which does fit up to a 7 1/2.

Instead, I recieved a small helmet, which will only fit a 7, maybe a 7 1/8 at a max. If he doesn't know his own correct head size, is that my fault?

At no time during my initial contact with him after receiving the helmet did I request my money back. It wasn't until he became very rude and stopped responding to my PMs that I made any such request.

And I can also back up Andrew's statement, that the ospery vest only comes in one version. There aren't even different "generations" of the vest, like there are of the OTV and Canadian frag vest.

He simply doesn't know the product he is selling, nor does he seem to make any attempt at learning anything about the product he is selling. Not only that, but he is unwilling to admit that he might be mistaken. He also doesn't seem to stand by his product, or his promises.

As for reselling the helmet, I would've been more then happy to do so had he been willing to admit he may have made a mistake, or even if he had bothered to show me any respect or been polite in dealing with this issue. But after being treated the way I was by him, I don't think it's too much to ask that he take the helmet back and refund me my money. He could easily sell it on ebay for more then he sold it to me.

I'd like the thank, publicly, Cortexburn, and the other mods who have been very helpful in dealing with this issue.

Heh wow, that's not even a size. Wishy washy people.. Hope you get this resolved. I guess his head size reflects to what he has done.
