The Thompson is one of those guns that is too expensive for a "oh lets buy this" but cool enough to be very interesting to shoot a friend's

Well I have gotten age verified but they have yet to update my status...that was 4 days ago... How long does it take...

well its was brian mc. so i guess im waiting on an admin....so cyma is a clone of tm?

did you proberly crono it? that 360+ is nuts compared to a 280 TM

The TM one is bound to shoot better... But this one appears to be really good.. I've seen one in person.

Oh BTW, your verification was posted, they're just waiting for an admin to change your permissions.

Update:

Just skirmished with it this morning. Me likey. It seems to be a decent outdoor gun, even with the short barrel. The 365 fps probably helps.

The gun was very easy to aim, and I usually just aimed down the barrel because that's where your eyes and head are when it's shouldered. You don't have to crouch you head down to aim. The sights were good too though. BB's went where the sights aimed.

Magazine was definitely stiff and hard to get in and out, but I'll get used to it and it'll probably get worn down a bit. Didn't matter much for the skirmish because I only used one hicap.

So all in all, I'm happy.

Update: The 8 lowcaps I ordered arrived. They actually slide in and out of the gun a lot smoother than the metal hicap.

8 lowcaps? Bandolier Perk? If thats the Cyma metal hicap you are talking about then yeah I noticed the same too, they seem like its a little off even the MP5 metal mags they have appear to not fit so smooth either.

Any youtube vids of the badboy coming?

Haha, yeah 8 lowcaps. They'll fit in my double-pouch triple M4 mag pouches that I use for AUG mags. Probably 3 or 4 in each pouch.
And no, no vids

Oh, and the mags I ordered were listed as "ACM" which just means china made, but when I got them they're actually Cybergun, just like my Thompson. But of course Cybergun just rebranded the Thompson from CYMA, so the mags are also most likely rebranded CYMA. Which in a roundabout way still makes them ACM. Lol.

Its a big confusing circle but I am pretty sure the factory who is in the centre of making it all must be laughing rich for all the money they get for making the guns and allowing it to be rebranded

The Thompsons all appear to work well in most conditions, the only complaint I heard about the clones was the battery. My TM Thompson comes in at a whopping 265-270 on .2's normally which isn't usually an issue at our WW2 games as most of our guns are stock, but at other games you have to get creative. At a skirmish last year another player had the clone Thompson and it consistently outranged the TM version.

I can vouch for the TM Thompson though, at the Flagraiders new field it got a sh1tload of sand in it at the beach section and still did the business.

Well worth an investment and if any of you Southern Ontario folk get yourself one, then why not get a WW2 kit together and join Easy Co.?
