here's some cheap lipo's, i have two. so far no issues, tight fit in the p90 but they fit.

and your going high speed, your going to need a harder spring.

ok basicaslly i tried it on a stock V6 gearbox - full auto no probs - no wear as of yet and used it for an entire game - take that plastic bushings hahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!! lol its TM and i have a tune up kit inbound so no im not just being stupid :P - apparently a TM V6 and EG1000 can cope with the 11.1 lipo no probs

The V6 and motor aren't the issues. The EG1000 is pretty robust, and the V6 mechbox is the strongest mechbox. It's the grears and piston I'd be concerned about. TM have really weak pot metal gears and they don't like being pushed like that. But if you have a tuneup kit on the way, then hey, go for it. lol

Bushings are more likely to fair with high tension springs rather than high speed applications. A long sustained spray may heat up the bushings causing them to melt, but realistically, you'd never be spraying long enough for that to happen. With a stock spring, nylon bushings work just fine. I ran my stock JG MP5 (330 fps) for almost 50k rounds (plus tons of dry-firing) before opening the mechbox and its plastic bushings were still in perfect condition.

I'm also debating between an 7.4 and an 11.1 Lipo. I've seen CJay's P90 and his stock speeds. Let me know how that goes for you.

I have a CA V3 mechbox with stock gears and stock piston (used to be deepfire polycarb but it blew up - long story) but a metal spring guide, bore up cylinder, bore up nozzle head, sound dampening piston head, and a SRC ultra high torque motor. The spring is m120. Is it safe for me to goto an 11.1v Lipo?

ok quick question here - basically rebuilt the gearbox with the following:

Guarder SP120 spring
Guarder Ballbearing spring guide
Guarder enhanced air seal nozzle
Guarder polycarbnate piston
Guarder 6mm Steel Bushings
Guarder Original type steel gears
Guarder lucid chromium plated cyllinder
Guarder Stainless Cyllinder head
Guarder enhanced ventillation piston head
Guarder enhanced tappet
G+P m120 turbo 3000 Motor

I had an Unported cyllinder in it before to ramp up the power with my 455mm madbull tightbore - still safe to use the unported cyllinder with the tightbore in that setup???

Anybody got any estimation of what the FPS would be with that setup?

Assuming that all your air seals are good and all works as it should (taking the tightbore in consideration), that should have you over 400 fps.

Even without the tightbore, with that tune up kit, you'll be either dangerously close to, if not over 400 fps.

Ok after initial testing I can get it to under 320 with the stock barrel and unported cyllinder with a velocity reducer installed. Which is good cos I play indoors alot. With the 455mm tightbore on it I'm pushing 420. With the stock barrel and no reducer it's siting around 380-390.

About 25bbps on an 11.1v lipo on the original tm eg1000 motor. I'll update when the g&p sp120 turbo 3000 arrives haha

Nice. At least you manage to keep it under 400 with the stock barrel. Not bad at all. I figured you'd be damn close to 400 with that setup if not over...

Do me a favor shoot a burst on auto and through the chrono, and compare that to semi only chrono shots. Supposedly the velocity reducer doesnt work on auto as the first bb breaks the membrane so that the 2nd bb gets through without a velocity reduction.

Correct. The velocity reducer only works for semi. It may impede the speed of the whole burst a bit in full auto, but once that first BB has "broken the seal" at lower velocity, the rest stream out behind it at pretty much full power.
