I agree, KA mags have problems: But I've exclusively used 8 KA mags for a year now and aside from the initial problems which reared their heads in two of the mags, they were fixed in 10 minutes, and had since all fired flawlessly. At half the price of TM mags, KA are a steal, but they can come quirks: something a lot of people do not want to deal with.

EDIT: Note my mags are for an M4. I've heard horror stories about the M14 mags... :|

Been using KA 70rd Metal AK mages with my TM. Haven't had any feed problems. Only issue I have is that the pin at the top falls out too easily. Simply remedied with a piece of electrical tape.

I've heard of a lot of issues with KA mags, but every single one of them is an easy, 30 second fix. For metal mags half the cost of a TM mag, I think it's probably worth it.

I have an M4 high cap mag and when it gets to the last 20 - 30 rounds it stops feeding, as soon as i can i plan on getting some mid-cap mags especially now that i have read this.

All high-caps will do that.

I have a box of those King Arms MP5 mags, their plastic but feed great. I'd recommend them definitely, plus they're cheap.

I have a box of MAG Midcap M4 magazines, and they are an absolute joy to use.

Also, my Ak-47 STAR 105 round mid-caps feed flawlessly in my Dboys-74u, even though the wobble side to side like no tomorrow. Good Feed + Cheap = Done deal.
