lol i guess u could argue it, but losing parts brings down the value of the gun I've seen a couple for sale on here with that safety missing too

hahaha it did technically come from the gun when you pulled the trigger :P
out of curiousity, is that part easy to replace? |

Yes!
NO! do not use a CO2 charger with a gas mag. it will blow your seals and if you manage to fire the gun, you'll likely blow the slide right off and shatter your gun to pieces. If you have a CO2 mag, then you need to insert the 12g CO2 cylinders into it. |

Propane runs at about 160 pounds per square inch of pressure, versus 800 for the other one.

How often should I lube the slide and other moving parts, if at all? Should I use silicon oil for that purpose as well?

I try to tear them down after they get used at a game. Some people don't lube until there's a problem.
I use 25wt 100% pure silicone oil on almost all parts. GBB's and AEG's. You can even use heavier weight like 75wt. The silly oil that comes with the AI propane adapter is lighter and I tend to use that more in mags. On occasion, I'll use dabs of white lithium grease in mechbox's. |

One last question: where do you get 25wt silicone oil? Most retail sites I've seen sell the AI silicone oil and other lighter weight oils. |

I lube after every game as well. I use 1.5wt silicone on seals, and otis gun oil for most metal on metal parts. I have a friend who is a gun smith, says otis is pretty good stuff.
