No, the Rec is an absolute piece of shit.

The standard ones are decent though.

i agree i bought an advanced G&G not the CAS version and it is very beautiful. i compared to my buddies blowback model (both m4 carbines by the way) and my gun was heavier and after coldfront we found out much more reliable. dont piss your money away with any kind of rec G&G just wait and get a higher quality one or get AVed which i must also do lol.

I might not even play airsoft for long, I don't need a G&G.
I don't have a lot of money.

I just want to know how the Kraken Kurz, compares to the Kraken

If you get a kraken kurz, the decision not to play for long will be made for you.

Don't get the kurtz, I recently received both the Kraken and the Kurtz, I have yet to take apart the Kurtz's mechbox...I could already tell thought that it's complete shit.

ok guys this guy is not going to be playing at crazy tournaments and crap so a kraken (what I have) will be fine. Sure its not as good as a G&g but it is fine for his use and budget

No, it isn't. It's crap and not fine for any budget.

Anything that you spend $150 on that has a 50% failure rate within 2,000 rounds is crap.

Why do these fucking noobs keep trying to combat years upon years of collective experience with their logic and inability to comprehend something when we tell them?

I do not want to spend that much money on a gun, right now I'm debating $30. I have other things to use money on, and just play airsoft with friends, I don't play religiously at tournaments.
Um. I dont think you understood my post.

I meant its instinct for noobs to question all good knowledge and do whatever they want anyways.

$30 will literally get you nothing. Literally.

Edit: Except a bag of BBs. Nice BBs too, actually.

Not a $30 gun ;p, $30 difference.

Should I just ditch Aftermath and make my own?

Make your own? you could theoretically BUT you will be wasting almost double a G&G AND you will be missing one part (or more) Which is the body
