yall just chill out, things will be back to normal, they just needed to show the people that they are cracking down on this shit, you think that's a big issue? replica guns? really? because you saw it on the internet? as for the clone haters, I'll take a Dboys AK over ANY AEG Tokyo Marui makes, to an AK user, TM is garbage.

At least they're cracking down on airsoft over there because of real problems.
Not because of "Maybes", "Somedays", "What ifs" and other soccermom reasons. |

Any high end AK built based off of a TM will work SOOOO much nicer than something built off of a clone |

That's completely based off how much of it you keep, For me it'd be almost nothing so it wouldn't matter.

It's completely based off of the fact that all high end aftermarket part manufacturers (Modify, Prometheus, Systema) use precision Tokyo Marui specs to design their parts with. The difference could be the micrometer more of proper gear-tooth engagement or piston engagement to the fact that the bushings will fit in the gearbox perfectly without any wobble to the fact that the Anti-reversal latch wont shift backwards and forwards... There's also the fact that all aftermarket companies that make GOOD bodies (not talking about element crap here) make them to be drop-in with Marui gearboxes. So even if you don't keep anything marui... Marui is still one of the best places to start if you're not on a restricted budget. |

Sad. My AKSU's brother, and or sister may have been in that camp. Oh the gunocide! Brings a tear to my eye...
Also, Dboys AKs, the "S" versions anyway, are great. I haven't dropped mine yet, but I've heard stories of crazy high falls, and no damage.. That says alot. TM couldn't manage that..... ever. |

I'm not saying that clones don't have their place, I'm saying that from a PURE performance outcome, 2 AK's upgraded the exact same (Say a TM and a Cyma) the TM will preform better due to all the parts fitting perfectly. But anyway -- Lets just drop this whole thing. Clones have their place, and OEM builds have theirs too. |
