G&P and G&G are not the same company.

They do not produce full metal GBBs, only partial metal.

Well still, most TMs are still ABS based. Its fairly easy to buy an aftermarket metal slide, though. Almost no AEGs by TM are full metal. |

g&g is diffrent from g&p to seperate companys , G&P makes high end full metal guns
G&G make low end midrange and high end but i hear that g&p is much better then g&g externally and internnally |

we have G&P retailers in the for sale section? (I can't see it yet ) and what company would you guys recommend for a full metal 1911? (I really really want that damn 1911... lol. and want it to be as close to a real one as far as detail striping goes! ) |

If you want details on the materials of a gun, go to a site like RedWolf.
But shield your eyes from the low, low prices, and realize a lot of guns you see there will be hard, if not impossible, to acquire in country. You'll have better luck in the classifieds, i think. Someone who's AVed will be able to provide more info. Last edited by MoreToasties; November 4th, 2009 at 14:37.. |

Im not sure that's true.
There are far more brands that make full metal 1911s. WA, WE, KSC, SocomGear, etc. |

The KSC is full metal? and what about their Glock 17, 19 and 34? are they near original materials? (I think a real glock has some sort of polymer frame... So are KSC's glock close to the real material?) also for the AEG... I kinda fell in love with the SRC G36... I have a huge erection right now... http://www.007airsoft.com/products/p...ages/10311.jpg would you guys recommend it? Its not made from realistic materials... but like the other topic says... it looks better than the G&G... but is it enough to be considered good? here are the specs(its the M4 specs, but the G36 is probably similar vs a G36 from G&G...): http://www.007airsoft.com/gngvssrc.htm is that a decent gun? if so, I'd go with a KSC 1911 (if full metal), and that sweet G36 (or G36K... same price... I can't figure the diffrence... maybe I'm just blind and don't see an obvious diffrence) edit: used excel to compare details... the only diffrence: front rails. (not I see it! lol). I'd get the K model then... after all they are the same price! Last edited by mas_oyama; November 4th, 2009 at 16:45.. |

I'm not a Glock expert by any means but I believe KSC Glocks, unless otherwise specified, have metal slides and polymer or ABS frames.

well I know a real glock has metal slide and polymer frame. It would make sense their (KSC) is made of the same stuff... once you know they make a full metal 1911, i don't see why the glock wouldn't be close to a real one as well.

Well there you go.
Hope you have enough info to make an informed purchase once AVed. Make you you verify my info =P I'm jealous of you, bud. I was supposed to get AVed last week, but I shattered my ankle and have to wait another month. |

sorry to hear that man. I admit I got lucky on that motorcycle crash though, I didn't get hurt too bad. I fell going 90 kph (yay, I dont have to convert it! we're all canadians! lol), It could easily been WAAAAAAY worst than it was! but like I said for me, I wont buy the guns right now cause I have to repair the bike first... Maybe I'll get the 1911 if the repairs aren't as expensive as I fear, just to jerk around at home... the AEG will probably wait until the beginning of next summer, if not later. (I know I can't play in winter with the GBB, It will only be for stripping and screwing around the home purpose right now! lol.) |
