not a soution... change the spring. also all testing is done with .20

and witch aeg do you refer as a pain in the ass to dissasemble?
They may CARRY their energy longer but they don't have more muzzle energy in an AEG. At point blank they will hurt equally.

The heavier will hurt slightly more at 50ft then the lighter one is all.

I like my AEG at 350fps. That way, it's legal on all fields.
400fps is over rated anyway.

When I'll get my new AEG (still shopping around), I'll set it up at 350fps and use 0.25g in it.

Also keep in mind that with such short distances you're not going to see a noticeable time difference between the time the BB exits the barrel and hits your target.

v=dt is the basic equation now change that to t =v/d with a 350 FPS guns shooting at a distance of 15 feet (less in most cases) the time it takes for impact will be like nothing (in fact it's 0.042 seconds), now drop that number to 300 (0.05 seconds) or even 280 FPS (0.053 seconds) and although the time for impact will be slightly longer it won't be noticeable at all.

So if I were you what I would do is have a CQB gun setup that shoots at around 280-300 and at that velocity you're likely to not cause as much wear or place as much stress on your gun. Then you have a second gun (or second upper if you have an ICS) which will be your outdoor gun.

NOTE: Some CQB facilities will have limits as low as 320 FPS and really it shouldn't matter how fast your gun shoots especially in CQB situations. Hell for shits and giggles you could even have a gun that shoots 150 FPS and still rock the field (the BB will still hit the target in 0.10 seconds).

EDIT: Typo... Been staring at a computer screen for most of the day so yeah....

... Actually.... Emacs is an editor, very similar to VI/VIm (except it's obviously the better choice of editor) so I don't know where you got that from.

I actually run a dedicated *nix rig (Hardy Heron going to upgrade to Lucid Lynx), a dual boot XP(soon to be 7)/*nix (also Hardy Heron going to upgrade to Lucid Lynx) and the lappy has Vista (soon to be 7 once I get the money to buy an upgrade ticket). So I've used real computers before, not to mention the rigs at school (Solaris, Fedora, and SUSE).

Outstanding...very good set of data Scarecrow. Very useful. And must have taken quite a lot of time to compile. Kudos to the guys doing the testing. Interesting how some results are simliar to golfball testing results I have read.

just a question of concerns this guns that we bought here are legally approved by Canada. But when you buy gun which has higher fps they won't allow you for indoor use, sometimes outdoor cause its to hot. Why don't we just enjoy the game even with higher fps, we all wear gears that will protect us from hurting each other, if you where shot it hurts and of course you will for sure call I'm hit.It is only just a tought there should be games with higher fps limit like 500.

Because it's completely unnecessary to have higher FPS limits.
