Yes impatient. You knew the items
were being held for review, so calling
customs to quote the law to them
isn't going to win you any points.

The shipping service you paid for is
irrelevant once customs decides to
evaluate your items. I'm getting a
sense of how you handle things lol.

Anyway, instead of explaining and
blaming and crying listen to what I
wrote in my first post, and you
should be ok. Next time you deal
with a customs agent play dumb.
You ever try to argue a speeding
or parking ticket with a cop? Also
not a good idea.

And I am speaking from plenty of
experience.

A bit patronizing yourself safx, are you a customs agent ? lol Anyway I get a good sense of how things goes now from Brian and you so indeed had I known before, I would have waited for a notice before doing anything.

I have been ordering this kinda stuff a bunch of times and it's the first time anything got seized up, mistakingly or not. Last order from airsoftglobal using the same FedEx service, everything got here in 3 days AND it had been open and inspected by customs.

I got advice from a friend that has been in the airsoft game for 10 years and he did tell me calling up the agent worked sometimes, and sometime not. All depends on how reasonable that person is at the other end.

Through my 10+ years of Airsoft d parts importing experience, (both personally and commercially) I have dealt with a number of seizures, and have won a fair amount of appeals.

My advise is to wait for your seizure notice, then follow the procedures given to you to initiate an appeal properly. They have no ground to seize your handguard and extension barrel. Appeal it, stick to it, and you will win in the end.

It could take over a year time however so yes, be patient.

Good luck.

Ken
